LifesCompanion got a reaction from Dabombinable in Australia's fibre rollout is officially dead.
Such a shame that my phone (4G/LTE) is faster than my internet by a massive margin.

LifesCompanion got a reaction from Shahnewaz in Nvidia "You Want a Piece of This ?" AMD "That Piece May Already Be Mine". Patent War Reigniting
Can we add a requirement for a [WCCF] tag for all WCCF articles, or ban WCCF all together since what they post tends to br either pure horse shit or extremely bias bull shit.
EDIT: small grammar error

LifesCompanion got a reaction from ZacDaMan72 in Chromium(google) Considers Marking HTTP As Non-Secure
While it's not needed all the time, I personally would prefer to see it adopted as a de-facto standard (I guess it kinda already is)

LifesCompanion reacted to GoodBytes in Mini-news: Forget ASUS 4K 28inch IPS. Dell presents new 4K IPS 27inch and 24inch. Cheaper.
Correct. All consumer market monitors are true 8-bit panels, an achieve 10-bit via emulation (A-FRC). However, it is used to distinguished, usually (they are exceptions, like the Dell U2714HM), 6-bit panel with FRC to emulate 8-bit colors (16.7 million colors).
Correct. Same colors. It's 27inch instead of 28inch. Probably part of the same panel series as ASUS. I am not sure if ASUS one comes pre-manufacture calibrated however, not that it maters to professionals, but for the consumer, it's nice to have something you can put on your desk, select sRGB color profile, and get stunning colors.
It's already out. I have added product links in the main post. -
LifesCompanion got a reaction from iMikeTheKing in Target Australia Removes GTA V from shelves.
I wrote a paper on this shit for uni, and dayum son, it was a blast writing it.
It was as if my university gave me the go-to to cut the feminazi bullshit to pieces.
Also, this idea of new media (in this case video games) = THINK OF THE CHILDREN!!!!1111!!!!1!!!! has been around since the introduction of "books" - let's take a look at Romeo and Juliet, a play that's commonly associated with romance, etc.
Just for a second, think about what R&J actually had in it. R&J is a book about how a guy well into his 20s wants to have sex with a girl who is no older than 14.... yeah, that just ruined it for a whole bunch of people.
But I digress, this ideology, along side the increasing (in popularity) idea of "I'm a gurl gaem dev so halp, but I ceeeeebs making a proper gaem and showing my SKILL, I'd rather mooch off feminazis" is disgusting.
If you know anyone who holds such mentality or come across it, cut those fuckers down (I've already done it at uni. LET THE CULLING BEGIN)
