Yeah it should support all logitech mice. The profile switcher is built into the software.

    1. Unplug a fan.
    2. Start PC.
    3. If it's still making noise:
    3.1 Shutdown
3.2 Plug the fan back in
    3.3 Unplug another fan.
Repeat until you've found the problematic fan.

That's how I hunted down my noisy fans. I also booted into BIOS instead of windows and I set my fans to a faster speed (I usually run sysfans on silent).

    Acrylic tubing

    Pros
-Can get really straight runs which always look good
-wont discolour like some tubing does

    Cons
-with hard piping it is harder to move items around/swap items
-little to no flexibility so your bends have to be spot on.
-fittings and the tubing itself is a little more expensive than standard barbs and tubing

    Regular tubing

    Pros
-no need for heatguns etc to bend
-no need to be precise about bends etc as the tubing is flexible
    -cheaper and easier

    Cons
-doesn't look as good because you can get perfectly straight runs
-doesn't hold its shape (will sag etc)

your basically looking at a choice between practicality/easiness with regular tubing vs better looking/harder for acrylic tubing.

You should be able to get a kit with a decent pump and a 120 or even 240 rad for around $250 such as the NexXxoS Cool Answer 240 DDC/XT. On their site it's ~200€, around 212USD plus shipping. L240 from EK has a DCP pump, dunno about that.

Still, I'd recommend to save up a bit more money for a loop with your choice of hardware. My planned loop is probably over 800€ already, including coolant and the needed accessories. 2x 240 rads for CPU + GPU (maybe 2 later).

@mcmilk11 L240 Has a DC pump and X240 has a DDC pump. There's a reason behind the pricing.

heikkikon got a reaction from Andrewf in Do you torrent? (A research study)
Used to torrent games before I could afford a proper PC. Also played a lot of F2P games back then, oh god... Having a library of 250+ games on steam kinda helps I guess. I've bought most of the games I used to torrent back then. Used to torrent music before I got Spotify, I've paid for premium for a few years now. Although I had to get Rammstein's discography when they pulled all their music from Spotify. Glad they're back.

I watch movies in theaters if people in my circles like it (that suggests that it's actually worth watching). Otherwise I torrent it, If I like it, I'll go buy a copy. Though I still don't watch a lot of movies, maybe once a month. So I guess I'm still a pirate. I don't like movie trailers because nowadays they basically tell the whole story except for the last plot twist, so I consider torrenting movies like an extended trailer. Still doesn't make it right, but I've lost all my faith in the movie industry, they just keep milking their cows until they can't milk no more. Same with a lot of AAA games, but I don't buy those on day 1 anyway.

Most clear and transparent tubing will degrade and get cloudy over time when using most fluids, both pre mixed and custom. This is especially noticeable with clear tubing and coolant.

Most sites which sell watercooling gear also sell cheap tube cutters, which will ensure you get a clean cut. It can also be done with a sharp knife, but I prefer the designated tool.

    I would use Mayhem's fluid over EK's.

The DDC pump top reservoir you listed does have a tendency to get cloudy, when using clear coolant. I've had 2 myself, using the EK pre mixed clear coolant.
And remember to get some anti vibration velcro or pad for the pump, if you plan on mounting it on the pump. Alphacool have such kit.

No, distilled water is different than a coolant, I used red tubing instead of clear ones, it looks like as if I added some dye.
If it's for shows then do it I guess, bet it will look badass.

To answer number 2. Scissors work fine, if they are sharp and you are using compression fittings, or just don't care what the end of the tubing looks like.
To answer number 3. Depends on where you want to mount the res and the pump.
To answer number 4. I personally use EK's Evo, but many people swear by Mayhem.
To answer number 5. to use a spoiler type {spoiler} what ever you want here, like pic or words than {/spoiler} but make the {} into [ ]
Red dye is the worst for tubes. If you want red id use the red tubes.
Also if you decide to go with a DDC you will need to get a heatsink and a new houseing. your better off with a D-5, this is the one that i use.

I have had 4x D5 pumps in different configs and 3 DDC (18w edition). I'd say the DDC is more quiet than D5 overall. D5 is quiet at 1-2, but 3-4-5 are noticeable. Even with a Monsoon or Bitspower d5 mod kit on top.

If you go with D5 just promise me you don't use the vanilla default Laing plastic brackets, they are so damn ugly. Use a proper pump top or res/pump from EK and company.

Looking at the same tubing, heard good things about PrimoFlex stuff. 6 months isn't really that bad for me, there's less time between the LAN events I attend and I'd probably flush my loop and clean everything before each anyway. Looking at maybe 3 months between cleaning the whole loop. I'm now concidering going clear first and adding red dye later if it really needs it. I have the LED strips in my current build already.

I'm so used to HTML syntax I forgot how forums work. Thanks.

For the tubing I was thinking of an effect like this

I'm torn between getting a DDC or D5 pump. Don't mind the extra work/parts/cost for the DDC. Main concern is noise.

Edenhanan specifically stated he playes mostly light MMORPGs, those should run fine at 4k, IMO. If he wants to play some more demanding games, he can run them at a smaller resolution, no problem with that. He can upgrade to Xfire later if he so desires.

Personally, I didn't have the money to get a 980 in the fall, so I went with an EVGA 970, got more money in Jan and used their step-up to go to a 980. Now I just need two (or three) 1440p monitors to replace my 1080p ones so I'll have some use for all that horsepower, although DSR is quite nice, too.

I have all my games in a SteamLibrary folder, and I moved the drive to a new computer, and then I just added the folder to my library in Steam settings. As long as it's Steam and you store it in a seperate folder from your steam installation it should work fine.

Using DisplayFusion myself. You can set a the wallpaper, screensaver, etc on each monitor individually and games launch on 1 display, as is default on Windows. I'm satisfied with it, and paid the $25 for a lifetime pro version (allows more customization and finer control over each feature). Also adds the taskbar to both monitors, if you so desire.

If you're using Steam and keep the Steam folder on the HDD, it'll fix itself when you try to launch Steam.exe. I'm not sure about Origin and Uplay...

I recently got an SSD for my games only, copied the steam folder to that SSD. Steam fixed it's installation once I launched it. The games I had the files for showed up as installed in the Steam library and performed the first time setup when I launched them.
