When I did maintenance on my Plex server (added more HDDs nothing major) I lost the database on Tautulli but I use plexwatch and that was perfectly fine all the time so I try to import my plexwatch database back into Tautulli but I keep getting an error is there something I'm doing wrong. or was this not compatible from the get-go. I tried putting in the "Database Location" entry slot the following, C:\plexWatch\plexwatch C:\plexWatch and with this string "C:\plexWatch\plexwatch.log" I got this Your help is very much appreciated. Please and Thank You.

  6. Hi, my friends were moving and they have this fairly recent LG TV but I no longer works so they were just going to throw it away. But if power is off at the picture is there and it's a 4K LG TV so I was wondering if I could fix. When I power it on all I get is static and the left half the of the screen is a color usually red yellow green or purple but the entire screen has static. I was wondering if it's one of the boards inside if so how would I diagnose it when I plug something in via USB I get power but it's not displaying anything the remotes not bringing up menus. The only thing the remote does is it can raise lower the volume and turn on and off the TV. Could it be fixed or is it tract?
  7. Recently I have been ripping my DVD collection via MakeMKV to put on my Plex server but when I went to watch one of my movies back it was in a 2 x 3 aspect ratio but when I stuck the DVD in my Blu-ray drive it gave me a 16 x 9 aspect ratio. I was wondering how I would convert it to 16 x 9, if Plex can convert it for I was playing back at original quality because I have to because my server is not powerful enough yet to encode on the fly. Is there a way to adjust the file because when I view the raw file on my computer that I riped on VLC it’s 2 x 3 aspect ratio along with viewing it directly off the disk on my pc.
  8. Do 100% on the PC and adjust the sound bar for you are putting a lot of unnecessary wattage through the speaker.
  9. thank you @kirbo14 i was looking at FreeNAS I just didn't know if it had scheduled backups I thought it was just a file storage array.
  10. I just pot my plex server up and runing (its an old dell precision 370 with a pentium 4 cpu) and its good for 480p dvd rips but I want to put 1080p blue rays on and it will not keep up with it. i was thinking to use ryzen but was also thinking old server equipment. But i don't want this to be just a server for media, is there a way I can also have it be a nas/server to do scheduled backups from my PC and laptop and I also want to be able to access my files at school if i need to. Can this be done or would a synology nas be better?
  11. it seems good, since it is a digital connection it either works of it doesn't.
  12. HDMI and Optical are both Digital so length doesn't effect quality like older analog cables and there should be no delay for it its a digital signal going at the speed of electricity. But if it is only for sound I would go Optical (that is what I have for my setup).
  13. I do some outdoor photography and i love my Sony a6000, It may not be waterproof but my sister has the same camera because she liked mine so much and went to the snow with it and it has held up very nicely. It is also very simier to the Nikon you have so if you like that the Sony is almost identical in a smaller footprint. the pentax is also a good choise but has a smaller senser sise but is you go that rought try before you buy because it is a smaller company you might not get the best support.Hope this helps. http://cameradecision.com/compare/Sony-Alpha-a6000-vs-Nikon-D5500 http://cameradecision.com/compare/Sony-Alpha-a6000-vs-Pentax-K-S2
  14. Yes, on inlet's ARK website you can run 3 monitors and mini DP should be able to have the bandwidth for 2 lower resolution monitors (1080p ish)
  15. I just re checked and down to 13gig.... don't you just love windows
  16. I only have 16 gig ram, and my hibernation file is only 6.37GB
  17. I just built my first PC yesterday and I installed my drivers and games and applications. the more important stuff/more used stuff on SSD other on HDD. but then noticed my 250GB SSD was 1/2 way full and went into windows settings and under storage I have 66.6 GB under System Files but on my laptop that I have had for 2 years now only has 21 GB which still seams a lot. is this normal?
  18. thank you all I was going to go back to logmein but teamviewer works much better
  19. I went with 7700k over the 6700k because a difference of $5-15 ill take the higher end one, i went with the 212 EVO over what i originally planed the Noctua NH-L9i or NH-L9a (I don't remember which one) because I later though if it was to small for the TDP of the 7700k and my friend recommended the 212 EVO which still fits in the Z axis in the quite small define c case, but legacy99 and Being Delirious recommended the Cryorig H7 but i have never heard of it and don't know if it is good enough for long term use (5+ years) and for height limits. also using a 1080p monitor and im more of a casual gamer (Besiege, Cities Skylines, Forza Horizon 3, just cause 3, rocket league, planet coaster, gang beasts) and trying to get into more demanding games (GTA V, fallout 4), at 60FPS (I want to experience it) because anything is an upgrade from my 900p 30FPS XBOX one, and light content creation (ive done 6 3min long videos this year) but would like to do and learn more, I am also doing audio mixes for school. Even though I love to talk about computers that do a million FPS in 25K in crisis 3 I don't need that yet, even though it is a "gaming" computer it is my workhorse do everything I need as a highschool student. I need reliability, longevity and if I need to portability but I understand the 1080 is better in every way even in the long hall, dare i say "futureproof". I picked highend well known companies and products hoping for quality and reliability, $1500 is a lot expressly for a student im just hoping is is good enough.
  20. so would the ASRock Z270 Killer SLI/ac ATX LGA1151 Motherboard $139.99 and Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1080 8GB Turbo OC Video Card $499.99 -$40.00 FREE $459.99 Newegg Buy + USD $40 off w/ promo code EMCRECC22, limited offer over what i currently picked Asus STRIX Z270-E GAMING ATX LGA1151 Motherboard $186.99 Asus GeForce GTX 1070 8GB Video Card $418.00
  21. Even though its not tempered glass doing a Define series form Fractal can never go wrong
  22. i know it is bad but the reason i went with the ASUS board is brand loyalty I have as my daily driver is an ASUS UX501J Pro, and I may be moving my computer around the house if i get a Vive (they are around half the price on ebay I saw one for $350) and don't have networking in my room and the built in WI-FI on that board is good i hear. the reason i went with the i7-7700K over the Ryzen 1700 is it is a new platform and im mot shure if the kinks are worked out yet, and the first computer i had bought new 5 years ago had an AMD processor and it was quite crap (E2 vision) and all my previous computers were hammy downs and Intel based and I don't recall having problem with them, so i still have a bad taste in my mouth with AMD. i would like more cores for when i do heavy work but not shure if I can trust AMD yet for I am quite brand loyal, hence my username.
  23. Its for gaming and school work (video editing and learning to code) and I went with the 960 just for the M.2 so I have less cables and i got windows 10 Pro from an IT friend for $35. and im not planing on overclocking but want the ability to if I feel like it
