    Gimme gimmeSeriously we are with helstra (telstra, who own the entire network here) and we are lucky to get 1-2down and 500kbs up, we pay the same amount. Not only that it drops in and out because none of the network is maintained through here, and everythign was supposed to be fixed when the nbn came through (lol jk, that's been canceled).

    Hi Post the dodgiest tech related misadventure/action you have had/done Mine was a home made ethernet splitter/ Poe injector, had to run power/data to a modem in the middle of knowwhere, simple solution was to run it at 100mbs^-1, fuse pairs of the other 4 wires together and connect the cd power converter from the box to them, then seperate them out again at the other end.

    Make your own using a regular plug and some super glue/araldite.Alternatively, you could fold a kill coil around a bit so it won't fall out and wedge it in a corner fitting somewhere...

    Here's the issue with this: all 'TV' in Australia would only be able to run at 480p because tesltra can't get their shit together and run the NBN properly.
