9justinas9 got a reaction from Du2kas in Hello i have a question
as far as i can tell you should be good as intel 12th gen is the first gen cpus for this socket LGA1700 so no initial bios update should be required cpu cooler looks compatible aswell although clearance can be issue according to the site but i dont think it will because its not a beefy cooler that will interfere with ram. as for intel 13th gen the first revision lga1700 boards may need bios update

9justinas9 reacted to Chiyawa in 7600x runing so hot? is this normal?
Well, if you follow the news, you might notice that Ryzen 7000 CPU has thicker IHS (integrated heat spreader) which impact the heat transfer from the die to the heat sink cold plate. Unless you know how to sand down the IHS properly, this temperature problem will always surface. But, of course, you can always under-volt your CPU. Jayz2Cents have some video in Youtube showing how he get his Ryzen 7000 series CPU temperature down.

9justinas9 got a reaction from Rampiks in System not posting after cpu cooler upgrade
try taking out cpu gently cleaning off the connections and putting it back also does fans spin when you power it on? if yes check the display cable both screen's and pc. and make sure you have connected it into a gpu's headers if you have one

9justinas9 got a reaction from Rampiks in System not posting after cpu cooler upgrade
1 did you disconnect more than cpu fan header? if so check the cpu power header as well as power button header.
2 did you screw on a cooler in x pattern ?
3 did you plug your pc in?
4 did you again checked all the cables connected?
5 did you zap any of your computer parts? like static electricity? especially if you have been working on carpet
6 did you applied thermal paste

9justinas9 got a reaction from matjojo in Laptop HDD running at 100% often
first thing to do is defragmenting the hard drive. sit back and wait because its going to take a few hours depending on your had drive size
second go to your task manager by pressing ctrl shift esc navigate to performance tab press on resource monitor. find a disc tab and there will be listed all programs witch use your hard drive. you can sort them by read and write tabs. consider google search on particular process that use your hard drive the most.
make sure you check solved if you found answer to your question

9justinas9 reacted to CzpR in weird temps and strange thinks on pc ?
mm..
1. The temperature on the Individual cores will always be different at least on my 3770k, there is as big a different on the cores if not more.
2. Prime95 is a beast of a CPU abuser, tbh.. I normally would suggest try another cooler but I guess you've only got a stock cooler. Even though intel chips are suppose to turn off when they get really hot I would rather not risk your chip. So rather try with adding an additional fan to your cooler.
Perhaps clean, reapply and install the cooler again, if your up for it. Might not be 100% surface contact between cooler block and cpu.
3. The graphics card shouldn't be throttling down at those temperatures, as it's made to run at like 85-100. And your fan speed isn't even at 50%..
4. I don't think it's your SSD thats getting hot, I would rather think it's your mechanical drive.
5. The BIOS thing, sadly no idea about MSI boards. Though I know one that has a MSI board and the menu is a bloody pain, at least without the proper usage time on it. dunno if this help a tutorial video on MSI BIOS 4, which should be z97 boards. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8EspRuY-pUc
6. the disappearing SSD problem.. yeah.. after you've fixed everything else try BIOS reset (found in the manuel) or update your BIOS.
anyways hope this'll help and good luck and have fun troubleshooting! =>
