Well your speedtest screenshots shows 10 Mbps which is the download that you pay for.

kevink817 reacted to Mikensan in ESXI with iSCSI over multiple NICs
Just adding a thread for those that search for it in the future. There's plenty of guides / videos on how to properly bond nics for iSCSI in ESXI, but one thing they all leave out (at least the guides/videos I've gone through) is to enable round robin under multipathing. Given the only device I have with multiple NICs is my ESXI server, thus I'm unable to test from my desktop which made testing difficult. Find your datastore > properties > multipathing, make sure roundrobin is set. By default vmware has it set to "most recently used."

^Finally getting 2gbit speeds. Sadly took me a whole day to narrow down where the issue was and then what configuration wasn't correct.

Also a super useful tool for testing throughput / IOPS etc... is vmware's ioanalyzer.

I would suggest looking at a different router than what your ISP gives you. I use a pfsense router and I LOVE IT you don't need anything to crazy, just a old PC will work great or if you want you can build a custom one too.

Cat-5e is rated up to 330ft (100m) for a gigabit connection, thats what I'd recommend.

The switch needs to support LACP, most managed switches do, and the NIC in the NAS will need to support it as well. However, this will not give you 2gbps file transfers, what it does is allow you to have two computers each do 1gbps to the NAS at the same time if the drives in the NAS are fast enough for it.

Software reading can be inaccurate, but that seems excessively low. Using a multimeter, you should be within 5% of 12v to meet 'spec'. So, 11.4v - 12.6v should be considered normal, anything else may warrant a PSU replacement.

In my experience, almost all graphics cards experience some level of coil whine... this is normal. If the coil whine is excessive, I'd contact the vendor support section for possible RMA. You can try another PSU as well, as the quality of power delivered to the card may be different, which could reduce coil whine.... or make it worse...

I've had instances of coil whine for a short amount of time, almost always at 0% load

It can go away - give it a week or so - when I took out my card and put it back day 1 was whine heaven then silence.

True - some electrical noise or other is perfectly normal and present on almost every piece of electronics - when I have my head against my PSU I can hear the electircal buzz and even SeaSonic themselves claim it normal

I'd recommend against aluminum foil, as it is conductive. There are capacitors on a motherboard that can store energy, and can be shorted out by the foil.

IMO, a fresh install of windows would probably be best. But to answer your question: No, default programs installed by Dell should not interfere. Drivers for the new motherboard can cause an issue, however.
