  1. Just my 2 cents I have owned this as well as a Razer Onza as well for almost 2 years now and while the Onza was a mistake as it broke with little use and no abuse (tiny dip switches not rubber domes... way to see what all 3 large companies use in bullet proof designs and decide to use button that broke with little use in vcrs...) my experience of the mouse pad is the only razor product that doesnt look like its part of a "my first goth gaming kit" and in approx 2 years of use looks flawless... as for its case... its land-filler, cant open it without a fight and who travels with a hard mouse pad and if you did you could simply set it ontop of your laptop and slide into its case or on the side of your tower (rubber bottom would not mar the surface it touches) and move it like that... Fun side note... The onza case is awesome for traveling with a ps3 ps4 xbox 360 xbone or steam controller plus extra wires... so to sum up Matacore great product terrible case Onza terrible product great case...
  2. Do ppl ignore or just fail to understand the INDUSTRIAL 24v part of this? because if you are using them anywhere inside your house they arent made for you... Noctua already made fans for you in their standard and redux lines... These fans are for use in areas that have dust and water go back and watch Linus's video on the first set of industrial fans remember how they even worked after being submerged? these are to be used in setting where a failure that stops equiptment cost WAY more (think powers of 10) the 35$ a fan. Think about it along the lines of enterprise grade HDDs and SSDs or even power supplies. Noctua did not have you and your wallet or your "all-prais-gaiben-battlestation" in mind when they made this. They have less expensive fans for that they come in grey and brown and if you dont like that you can get the linus edition black ones also.
  3. I travel a lot for work would be easy to bring with me for on the road use/HTPC use at home
  4. https://www.massdrop.com/buy/dxracer-kc57-console-gaming-chair Saw this and reminded me of your question so here you go... hope it helps with your decision ...
  5. Honestly when I was shopping that is kind of a meh price point to look for a chair, due to options (lower quality materials to make the margins possible for profits). I would never tell anyone that they need to spend more then they are comftorable spending on a chair but you need to ask yourself how long are you spending in the chair daily and realize a chair is like shoes and matresses as they can have huge impacts on your body depending on your body dynamics and on time using them and quality will last much longer. If you are spending 2 hours a day in the chair you can make do with a folding chair (I did 1 month on a bar stool) but any longer I would start to look at around 150 for a fake/bonded leather costco one knowing that it will last 5-6 years as long as you dont have a pet that ruins it or arent too heavy for the pneumatics to last. Or what I did and if you can do yourself look on used websites second hand stores and keep an eye out for a quality office chair that was taken care of. So as I see it 100-300$ new gets you an ok chair that will last 5-6 years if you buy new, OR 100-300$ used gets you a great used chair But requires leg work and you need to be flexible on color and design. BUT if you love the DX dont feel bad for getting it I have never heard anything bad about them and every option involves a comprimise you just need to ask what you want points your comftorable compromising on.
  6. Ok so my opinion is no dont get a gaming chair as it isnt worth the premium, but thats because I am pretty sure that almost anything on the market that markets itself as a "gaming" anything is usually its way of suckering ppl into paying more for colors and shiny black plastic. Examples being gaming mice keyboards headsets(worst offender). I will admit monitors is a grey area as some are subjectivly better in some instances then standard models but they also come a a HUGE premium and mostly have tade offs in color etc). The issue I take with the DX line of chairs is yes they are quality compaired to other car seat style chairs it really doesnt matter as they are based on knockoff recarro style seats that are built to be a comprimise of a true bucket seat while allowing for incline adjustment and folding. So you are paying more for a chair that will "grip you in the corners" in you office in front of a desk while designed to allow it to tilt forward and back something I cant see needing in an office chair. Plus it adds "features" like a cusion for your head and lower back again pointing at an inappropriate initial design that causes issues that are now being band-aided to cover them up. And it would be cheaper and better to go to a wrecking yard find a lightly totaled new german luxery car and pick up a leather car seat and attach it to a cheaper base as the quality would be light years ahead. I agree with some other posters here stating a nice chair and as much as ther Herman Miller is a fluffy cool cloud to rest on I dont think many ppl can justify the cost (although used is a great resource plus no cushions to be full of old farts). I got a 1200$ office chair for 50$ at a used charity store ya its a light green but it comfy and I cant see it while I sit on it and it saved me the 1000$ I was saving for a Herman Miller so I bought a sweeter monitor. and the streamers are most likely sponsors hey then need to make a living and sit pretty while they do it. TL DR: "gaming" chairs are ugly and lower quality at a price premium and expensive "executive" chairs are comfy with awesome quality BUT expensive
  7. if you want to sell some hit me up as I would be interested obviously as long as the price reflects the fact that they are used
  8. I am rocking a 240x30mm (I swear I could fit a 45mm thick with my motherboard regardless of what other outlets say but your milage may verry based on motherboard heatsinks and connectors) in the top of mine with a 360 rad in the front and the res sits higher then you have it in your diagram so it actually sits flush with the top where the front fan hole for easy filling. My pump is in the bottom as well as my 3.5 hhd. The problem with the h440 is a lot of compromises with storage have to be made the instant you start watercooling... If i did it again I would do a pump/res combo like you and 280x45mm in the top and a 360x45or60 in the front. If you really want you can do a 2 360mm rads BUT you will end up having to run one that is 30mm think and loose a fan and run then others below the rad, effectivly making it a skinny 240mm and having it cramped... if you want I can take some pics of my rig... Mine stays cool and I have 780 lightnings sli and a 3570k all overclocked mild-ish... but fans need to pick up underload...
