  1. Yes, thats one of the reasons I am updating it. Also it is running on an older bios so I want to get the newest version for best performance and stability on ryzen. Thanks for the replys
  2. Well, the title says it all. Might sound like a noob question, but I want to be certain. Will the new agesa 1071 update which is designed to support new ryzen cpus also still support the current R3 1200 ? Can I safely update it on a current R3 system ? Thanks
  3. Just wondering, how exactly would you know whether I followed them or not on my twitter if I dont't have twitter linked to my profile? Does that make me not eligible to enter this giveaway? Anyway my crappy chiclet Chicony keyboard, functional A4Tech mouse, no headphones just speakers, could use an upgrade.
  4. Well anything at this point is better than my curent gtx 660 so ...gibe nao pls, I guess?
  5. Never had any experience with compact keyboards, but still I would opt for a full one. Better to have that comvenience of everything in place.
  6. Understandable idea going with vessel, but one thing is for sure, the video quality settings over there really need to get enhanced (not that LMG could actually carry that out). Another great giveaway and I hope it's going to be worldwide. Well here goes nothing. Vessel username: Imaniac As for the videos on vessel: 5k TITAN X SLI BFG Ageia PhysX Card classic unboxing
  7. Hope I don't break any maturity laws by mentioning the Witcher but damn those Poles really know how to make an rpg game. Mass Effect, Dragon Age and I should say Assassins Creed but ...they don't deserve the recognition right now.
  8. Ok bring it on! I'm feeling lucky ..as always ..and never win anything
  9. 1. faster internet 2. gtx 980 3. new psu 4. better cpu 5. custom water cooling
  10. I think it mostly boils down to the type of the game. If I play any online competitive game (fps, mmo) I need that stable 60fps no matter what. But when playing an offline story based game I'm ok with 30fps. I mean it is NOT "more cinematic" or stuff but it's enough for that kind of game. The real concern is consistency of the framerate. I think that's almost even more important that the fps itself. If I could play that fucking ac unity at STABLE 30fps I'd be more than happy. It'd be smooth enough for me, but it has to be stable, with no stutters and lag bullshit. On the other hand I can have a game running 60fps 90% of the time but when I get those huge drops down to 30fps it just ruins it. Thats my opinion.
  11. Best choice would be the EDG750 psu. Because it's 80 plus gold, has great functions that I never had like silence fans, modular cables and is a lot better and more expensive than mine. Second would be the Kuhler water cooling, 'cause I've never had water cooling before.
  12. I might have to start using that windowed mode, although I can't imagine this as a temporary solution. My best hopes are in the hdmi cable cause it's been unplugged a lot and i think the connector is bent a little bit but it still kontradicts with the fact that I have no problems with the screen outside of games.
  13. Hi guys, so recently I started experiencing some screen tearing in games. Now before you start putting me down with "if you turn off vsync you're bound to have tearing" please hear me out. I've been running Nvidia adaptive vsynch for a couple of months now and I haven't experiecned any tearing at all from the start. It appeared just recently, and pretty massively, in basically all games. So the reason I'm bothering you with this is that I was able to run adaptive vsync without any tearings usually with fps under my monitor refresh rate (60Hz) and all of a sudden I get these annoying tears in all games. And I don´t know where the problem is. I can turn vsync on permanently but it just drops the fps too much. I know I could turn the game setting a little lower and enable vsync with solid fps but is there any way to find out why the screen tearing suddenly appeared? Could it be my monitor going away, even though I have no visual problems outside of game environments, ..not yet. Can my hdmi cable have some broken signals and start causing this? Is it my gpu or could it be any other part of my hw? I have a gigabyte gtx 660, amd fx 8320 oc at 4,2ghz and corsair 8gb 1600mhz cl8 ram. I'm asking for some theoretical or from experience advice, I know I could test most of these options mysefl somehow but I'd be thankful to get any help.
  14. Look great and perform even better, thats what I like about them. Would be great to have one in a pc.
  15. Thanks a lot. I'm quite excited for that case, I've already seen that Linus' review al least 50 times, just to be sure.
