    Hi,
I tried this and it worked fine. I took the GPU back to CEX, and they refused to take it back without sending it off to someone else because they didn't believe me..

After a bit of a 'Discussion', he agreed to order me another from one of their other stores.
My computer is now back and working fine!:)
    Thanks Guys!

Had to Google Curb Stomp since I've never heard of this in Quebec haha. Oh well. Hopefully they'll give me something that's bloody decent so I can just sell it. How's MSI or XFX? Are they good? I've always liked MSI, and I've had an XFX R9 280x DD (which was flawless), so.

There is a number of reasons why the computer could be slow.
The HDD could be dying. It could broken have a windows install It maybe infected with virus' The startup folder and startup maybe filled with lots of stuff that shouldn't be turned on It could be an underpower for what it is required to do. The HDD could also be fragmented. I'd look what is in the startup folder (remove everything from there) and what is enabled in the start up tab in Task manager (disable everything), run malwarebytes, then CCleaner. After that defrag the HDD.

Hey there! Welcome to the forums.
This looks good for simple stuff. Personally, I am a big fan of Seasonic power supplies and often power supplies made from Seasonic are branded such as Corsair. Look for a power supply with a good efficiency such as 80+ Gold and also it doesn't need to be very powerful.

Alternatively, have you considered buying computers used off of the internet? You can get used computer parts for a fraction of the price from places like craigslist, kijiji, or ebay. Your mileage may vary (YMMV).

Hey, I am not sure how many hard drives or fans will be in your computer. You can use this power supply calculator to estimate how much you need. http://www.coolermaster.com/power-supply-calculator/

If the SSD is within the warranty period, you can send it to them if you find that it is causing the problem. However, this RMA process will probably take several weeks.

BSOD screens are tricky because they are so vague and can be caused by any number of hardware or software related problems. Also, the motherboard could be causing the problems as well, but this is harder to diagnose without access to another computer with similar specifications.

Sometimes a BSOD can also be caused by a failing power supply or RAM or SSD (I doubt it). Try running memtest.

Once I purchased a thinkpad and replaced the ram with a 16Gb kit I bought from NCIX. The 16Gb kit of ram caused random problems and BSOD to a point where the technical support from Lenovo thought I had a virus because their utility would corrupt when downloading. Eventually I unplugged one of the sticks of memory and sure enough it fixed it.

EDIT: Also Windows 10 doesn't support older nvidia video cards that well. My friend had a 7800GT or something from 2007. When I had installed Windows 10 it wouldn't detect the drivers for the geforce properly and I couldn't get it to install nvidia drivers. This could be another possibility.

Trust me Hun, I definitely notice color differences, thanks for reminding me I didn't want to think about that problem...I think I'll just try to find 3 1080p IPS monitors that just so happen to have low response times~,  if anybody can link me some I'd be grateful

If you are as OCD as I am, you will be able to tell the colour differences between all three monitors and that may bother you more than the resolution. I suggest either going 3 IPS monitors or 3 TN monitors because any mix will highlight the color differences in the monitors.

Unfortunately, VSR is only applicable to 16:9 and 16:10 monitors running certain resolutions. My 4:3 LCD monitor couldn't use VSR, LOL. I don't know if this limitation also applies to DSR.

Even if you don't have the money for a 1440p monitor. You can always run the GTX970 and R9 390 in DSR and VSR, respectively. I bet the games would look better running 1440p or 4k res on your 1080p monitor.

Its in the nvidia control panel under 3d settings, and I would assume it is somewhere in the catalyst control center for AMD as well

Thanks Grim, I am happy to hear you are doing well and from what I read the lump was benign (please correct me if I am wrong). Cancer is terrible, My father passed away from it when I was young. Honestly, I can't say I deserve this card. I definitely want this card. I haven't done anything charitable in a while. I think the last thing I have done that was charitable was the Santa 5K Shuffle in 2012 raising money for the Salvation Army. Giving tech support doesn't count in my books... cause I love being a know-it-all.

Anyways, good luck fellow LTT members.

I hear you brother. Everytime, I go to the washroom, I see guys with one hand on their dick peeing and another hand on their phone. I think to myself how addicted to your smartphone are you that you can't put your phone down for 30 seconds to piss. No wonder washrooms have so many puddles on the floor... Good grief.

Dude, you could have made your life so much easier, just buy an external Aquarium filter. Take out all the filter material, and here you have pump, reservoir and tubing all in one box (as most of them come with plenty of tubing included). Then all you need is your block and radiator. It made me cry when you walked by them in the pet store.
