  1. I thinkl about this one or something similarly: https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/asus-g501jw-cn217h-de-layout-1560-full-hd-intel-core-i7-4720hq-16gb-win-81-notebook-4673707?tagIds=614
  2. in francs it's about 1500, and I will buy it either from amazon.de or digitec.ch
  3. Hi guys I want to buy me a new laptop which I will be mostly using for school, but also for some gaming and editing. I live in Switzerland so the prices are different but I can spend like up to 1800 bucks. I really want to get a good laptop that still is not too heavy to carry it to school and back again. It shouldn't wheight more than 3 kg/6lb but it wouldn't be the biggest problem if it's heavier. (sorry for my english =)
  4. Hey guys As I want to buy a new mechanical keyboard I considered the corsair k70 the best choice for me so I went to my favourite shopping page and there are 2 types of the k70, the vengeance and the gaming "edition". Is there a difference other than the gaming logo?
  5. I don't hear any difference but for now I'll just boost it for 10db and then buy me a usb adapter
  6. And since I live in Switzerland it's more convenient for me to buy in a swiss online shop where some things like the syba usb aren't available. But I think this would be a cheap and good solution for me: https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/sweex-soundkarten-adapter-usb-20-soundkarte-361250?tagIds=76-525 and of course I would use this just for my mic.
  7. Could it be noise reduction? I don't see anything that says noise suppression
  8. hey guys, I recently got my new modmic 4.0 and of course I wanted to test it right away. but there was a problem: the volume is so low, it only records if I boost it which is no option because of the static noise... But anyway, I heard this is a problem with some realtek chips and didn't find any solutions for this. I also saw people handling this problem with a usb soundcard or something like this. What would you recommend buying in this case? atm I just use my onboard from my asus VII ranger mobo and it shouldn't be too expensive but if there's no way arround it I have to pay for it I guess...
  9. I just found a way to do it! I had to go into the options menu in the realtek audio manager and select the version where my headphones and my speakers show up as different devices with different audio streams.
  10. Hey guys, today my new headphones arrived and I wanted to test them. If I plug them in, it doesn't show me a new device in the playback menu. They just work if I select my speakers which then don't work anymore. How do I set it up to show me 2 different devices? This is how it looks:
