  1. it will be gunmetal with blue lighting. It should be available sometime this month according to the rep in linus's computex video.
  2. hey D1G1TALD3ATH I just got my k70 in yesterday and it is an awesome board. Have you gotten around to installing the new springs yet? I was looking to swap the springs out on mine with 65g springs but I was curious to see how easy it was and if you liked it at all with the heavier springs. One of the things I like about this KB is that it will be much easier to keep clean. I may actually have to invest in one of these though http://amzn.com/B001J4ZOAW blow it out regularly since you can see the crud under it. I was trying to wait for the gunmetal with the brown switches but my g15 was dying very quickly and I ran out of time to wait. That being said other than the red lighting which actually isn't too bad I have been very happy with red switches.
  3. I knew I forgot something, I do have 2 noctua fans on the cooler. I also have 4 noctua fans for intake and exhaust on the case. My deciding factor for the motherboard change is I am tired of full sized systems the 600t while a great case was much bigger than I was expecting and I only use up one expansion slot so the other slots usually stay empty and collect dust so an itx board does fit my general usage. That was my thinking when considering the motherboard change. oh and my temps under gaming load do not get above 70c on the cpu
  4. So I received a bonus this last pay day and I have had the upgrade bug for a little while now. That being said my system isn't so far out of date that it needs a complete over haul. I figured I would post my complete specs here and see what you guys would upgrade with an $750 budget. I will also post what I was thinking about doing as far as upgrades and see if you guys/gals agree or if you would change anything at all. Also I play all types of games from the newest games to classic games of all types of genres. First off my complete specs: CPU - i5 2500K @ 4.7ghz Motherboard - Asus P8P67 rev b3 Memory - G.Skill Ripjaws 2x4gb Cooler - Hyper 212+ Case - Corsair 600t SSD - OCZ Vertex 4 128gb Hdd - 1 wd 1tb green & 1 WD 2tb green PSU - OCZ Modxtreme 500w (won it in another forum giveaway on another site :) ) GFX - Gigabyte 7870 2gb Keyboard - Logitech k120 (my original g15 died on me 2 weeks ago) Mouse - Logitech M500 (replacement for a puppy chewed mouse, ended up liking the scroll wheel lol) Monitor - 2x View sonic VA2703 (found them as open box items for $120 each) Headphone - JVC HA-Rx500 (puppy chewed my rx900's) Mic - Cheap lapel mic from amazon OS - Windows 7 pro That is my complete system. I know I could use some upgrades but the overall system I do not think is that bad and worth it to start from scratch. I was thinking about a couple of upgrades centered around making the system smaller and upgrading the peripherals. Changes: Motherboard - P8Z77-I Deluxe ( I like my current OC) Case - Fractal node 304 keyboard - Corsair K70 (i dont use macros that is why I didn't opt for the K95) Mouse - g400s if I order from amazon or newegg and g500s if I use ncix since they seem to be the only ones that have it. Cooler - Corsair H80i Headphones - Beyerdynamic Custom one Pro Mic - Modmic 3.0 I am looking forward to your suggestions and ideas.
  5. I am not a very active user on this forum, although I do lurk quite a bit. But I do remember watching that video when I was getting ready to buy the tuniq tower. It was just as bad as I remember lol
