I figured it out. windows has it as a virtual disk for storage spaces, not even using ubuntu installer and in ubuntu through gpart, or using a windows installer and formatting the drive or diskpart clean/clean all could bypass this. Powershell there are commands to do this. Not sure why windows had such a strong hold on the drive that.

How do I know if its performing something or it failed? After I enter clean all it lets me use commands again like normal

I actually dont remember when I got the drive. Mostlikely within the last 3 years. It was just a spare drive I used for game storage in raid 0. But I am quite annoyed that it died because of storage space.

Im going to try that, googling around and finding stuff about corrupt mbr. Is that fixable?

I was using storage space to recreate my drive pool. After a bunch of windows restarts update and shit. It wasnt showing in storage space so I went disk management to double check. Think it corrupted my pool. What is the commands for clean? >Diskpart >Select disk >clean ?

Just set up my pc on a fresh install of windows. The system will hang randomly. App and explorer will just stop responding and downloads will freeze. When this happens I would restart and it will either be stuck in the restart screen or restart into a black screen and I need to do a hard restart. I'm running the latest bios, and installed recent chipset drivers for my motherboard. This is a half old half new build with a stock 780ti and a ocz zt bronze 650w psu. Am I missing anything which is causing this? Also is edc at 100% of 90a normal?
