    You already answered yourself. You need to update the bios. You can go to any local computer shop and should be able to do it for you. Or if you bought the motherboard from a computer store, they will update it for you. If all else fails, amd has a program that sends you a temporary cpu to update it. You just need proof of purchase and proof that the manufactuer is not able to do it for you

    2700 is alot better then the 4930k, not equivelant.4930k was ivy bridge which was the during the same time as vishera and AMD hasnt released anything between that and Ryzen so you dont have anything that equal to it. That said from all the leaks and news, zen 2 look promising. Matching IPC maybe slightly better and cores to back it up

    Only get 240hz monitor if you are just going to play easy to run games like csgo or overwatch and have the computer power to push consistant 240+ frames. If not just get a 144hz monitors. More then suffice

    I can't say for certain but there are alot of pro players who play on crt and can notice a difference from 60hz to 144hz monitors. It may or may not be a placebo though. Personally I felt some delay between 60 and 144hz

    Playing melee at 60hz vs 144hz, I do feel like there is a noticeable delay input.

    VLC seems to be playing back youtube video at 480p or lower. I already set its preferred video resolution to 1080p and Best available. Is there another setting that I am missing? Below are the comparisons.

    I know it's not that simple, but there are high end cards that slap a single fan that just compromise heat for size when they really should have just used a lower end card cause of how much performance suffered

    Reinstall gapps fixed it, this happened before and I tried reflashing gapps too and it didnt work. Guess I got lucky this time
