That might not fix it. The header on the pcb could be loose and causing the intermittent connection, the wires in the cable could be fatigued and have broken, or the pins on the male connector could be loose. I would inspect it further before buying replacement parts.

The teflon/ plastic pads on the bottom are probably used to hide screws.

Pull it apart and check the wires from the cord and where they attach to the pcb. The solder joints have probably gone bad. You can usually fix it if you're good with soldering

Nope. Too many vices as it is, and we don't need to make another one more accessible. And I'm not just pointing the finger at alcohol, weed, gambling, and tobacco. Anything can be used as a coping mechanism, from food to impulse buying. You could even argue games are a coping mechanism if you really wanted.

We're knee deep in debt and we have candidates arguing about social programs. Neither side is willing to state what actually needs to be done in order to fix it, which is cuts to departments and programs that both political spectrums hold dear. Most banks have two routing numbers per account. For for direct transfers to another bank... Say for loan payments, and second for person to person transfers. The second one is supposed to be useless if leaked since it can only be initiated by the account owner and isn't used as identifying information for account recovery. Either way, I can't say I blame the guy for not wanting to give out any such info.
