  1. My budget is small. But, I ended up buying the case today and it fits my needs perfectly.
  2. [CLOSED] I'm wanting to upgrade to a new, better case than my mid-tower Cooler Master Storm Enforcer. I was looking for a "unique" (cube-designed cases to me are unique) and for the price, the XB looks like a good case for me needs. I was just wondering what other members have to say about this case. All I can go on are reviews and unboxings of the case. Also, I would be air cooling the system for now and I know the 200mm fan on the top can't be installed. This may help but here is a list of my system. CPU: Intel i5-3570K @ 4.2 GHz (maybe 4.4 GHz in the new case) Motherboard: Asus P8Z77-V Pro/Thunderbolt RAM: Kingston HyperX Genesis 16GB (4 x 4GB) Video Card: Nivida EVGA GT 520 1GB (Upgrading to either a GTX 660 Ti or a HD 7950) PSU: Corsair TX650M (650W) SSD: Samsung 840 250GB HDD: Hitachi 250GB (2.5" HDD) HDD: Hitachi 350GB (3.5" HDD) HDD (Soon): Seagate Barracuda 1TB SATA3 (3.5" HDD)
  3. A GTX 680 only uses 195W and EVGA recommends to use at least a 550W power supply, so you should be fine. Usually 650W is good for overclocking and with one video card. If you wanted to do SLI or CrossFire in the future I would upgrade to either a 750W power supply (for room in the future) or a fully modular 650W power supply. That way if you decide to upgrade your power supply, all you have to do is unplug the cables that are connected to the power supply and put the new one in. I also use a power supply calculator that works for me and you're able to put everything you want in your system and it will tell you the minimum and the recommend wattage. Here is a link to the power supply calculator, http://www.extreme.outervision.com/psucalculatorlite.jsp Sorry for the long response but I hope this helps.

    Poor mans PC

For a "poor" man's PC, this is not that bad. I probably had a "poorer" PC when I first built mine, lol. The cable management looks good since by the look of the pictures, you're using a power supply that comes with pre-built PC's (A $500.00 HP PC for an example). I would also not recommend over clocking on the stock CPU cooler. I would wait and buy one of those $30.00 cheap CPU coolers. All in all, that looks like a nice PC.
  5. I just have a small question about the Corsair Vengeance C70 military green edition. Would my motherboard, which is a Asus P8Z77-V Pro/Thunderbolt, go good color wise with the Corsair Vengeance C70 military green edition? I'm thinking about upgrading my old case for this one but I wasn't sure if my motherboard would "fit" (color wise) with that case. To me I think it's fine but I would like other people's opinion on it.
  6. I`m looking to get a fully modular one, which mine isn`t, and a power supply that can handle my future upgrades. What other power supply should I get then? Thank you also for your feedback.
  7. Yea I know. The cable management is terrible or just under decent. Once I get a new case which should be soon I will be taking a lot of time with the cable management.
  8. Thank you. That is what I thought too but I wasn't 100% sure. That's why I posted that question on this forum.
  9. Welcome to my post. This post is just me showing off my personal build. I know some parts are old but I'm upgrading them soon. I'm only 16 making about $100.00 CAD every 2 weeks. The pictures that are below were taken with a iPhone 4 with a life proof case on so sorry for the bad quality. Current System: - i5 3570K OC to 4.2 GHz - Asus P8 Z77-V Pro/Thunderbolt Motherboard - Noctua NH-U12P SE2 CPU Cooler - NVIDIA GeForce GT 520 1GB - 16GB Kingston HyperX Genesis (4x 4GB) - Corsair TX 650M Power Supply - Samsung 840 250GB SSD - Hitachi 250GB Hard Drive (My old laptop hard drive when my laptop screen broke) - Hitachi 500GB Hard Drive (Old hard drive from 2008) - AVerMedia HD DVR Capture Card (Yes, I play on a console for now) - Cooler Master Storm Enforcer Mid Tower Case - 2x Arctic Cooling Arctic F12 PWM 120mm High Performance Case Fan (Front of the case for intake) - Enermax U.R.VEGAS 120mm Case Fan (Rear of the case for exhaust) - Stock Cooler Master 200mm Red LED Case Fan (Top of the case for exhaust) - Stock Cooler Master 120mm Case Fan (Zip tied to the 5.25" drive bays for intake. Yes the case door is removed) Here are the pictures. Just a heads up though, my cable management is just under decent but I will be doing a lot of cable management work when I get my new parts.
  10. Hopefully by me posting this, I can gain some feedback on my future upgrades on my personal build. 11. I've tried Google searching the difference between the Corsair AX760 and the Corsair AX760i. The only difference I've seen is Corsair Link. Besides Corsair Link, is there any other difference? Does the Corsair AX760 come with the same single sleeved cables as the Corsair AX760i? The reason I'm asking this question is because I'm planing on upgrading my computer.
