Doesn't BF1 have some sort of dynamic resolution thing? So if you can't handle 4k it will downscale the resolution to match your hardware. Maybe you're not getting actual 4k.

Arma 3 is not well optimised

I'd easily say ArmA 3 is far more optimised than most released games today. Although the framerate is lower than most games you may be used to the game runs fantastically for how much is being done.

  3. Wow I really hate Amazon's way of listing things... LOL

This was the 1 I was meant to link you: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Acer-Predator-XB270HAbprz-Monitor-Displayport/dp/B00LX2J17W/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1437076522&sr=1-1&keywords=Acer+XB270HA

I was wondering why it got so cheap, just assumed it had some Prime Day leftover sale or something  :D

    Sorry about that

    Yessir thats the one :D

Nae worries, thanks for the help!

  4. No worries aha, just to clarify though all the 1s I linked were g sync (In fact the only other available 1080p gsyncs at 144Hz aha) D: even the Acer Predator XB270H for only £237 on amazon! (Cheaper than the 24") do you just prefer a 24" screen? o:

Sadly that 27" model does not offer the g-sync otherwise I would have purchased it haha

Plus for 1080p 24" is preferable imo  :)

  5. Here are all your available choices mate:

    Acer XB240H (One you said)

    Acer Predator XB270H 27" version (£240) http://www.amazon.co.uk/Acer-Predator-XB270Hbmjdprz-Gaming-Monitor/dp/B00LVP4220

    AOC G2460PG (£300) http://www.scan.co.uk/products/24-aoc-g2460pg-144-hz-g-sync-gaming-display-displayport-1920x1080-350cdm2-80m1-1ms-usb-hub

    BenQ XL2420G (£380)  https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-112-BQ

So I would go for the 27" Acer if it were me, for that price, not bad at all.

Anything else in the g sync market (That's got the refresh rate you want) goes out of your price range

Thanks for the quick reply man, looking like I'm just going for the one I've posted. G-sync is a must with the games I play :D
