That is wrong in my opinion. Someone does not subscribe to Amazon Prime, Netflix or anything just to rewatch the old things again and again. Yes I know a little bit about business and they would make money with e.g. a 5 USD discount on the store or a special discount on a specific item. They do a lot of this stuff during WAN show, for getting rid of dead stock e.g. Many companies sell dead stock cheap because they would lose more money otherwise. Actually they do owe me something for the money I pay them, this is how businesses work (excluding charity). As said, I still can hope for something in exchange for the lost week. They do not owe me extra stuff, on this point i agree with you.

I never said that it equals more profit, i said it would create more cashflow. Also i never said, they have to provide something additional, just that I hope it. And yes i will consider to unsub if there is no value for me anymore. I don't get your thought process on this one though, only because I hope for something does not mean i will cancel right away. Also considering floatplane is quite small compared to other streaming services, I for sure can hope.

Because first, as far as i know, the strike is not over. Second because floatplane is significantly smaller and third giving a discount e.g. for lttstore would create some more cashflow from there.

I hope there will be some kind of discount for the floatplane subscribers, because of the lack of content...

I tried running it, i always get the error 'connection standby is not supported on this computer'. I use Win 8.1 Embedded because it is quite fast and stable, i am a developer so it is quite great for the programs i created

So i found the "Deep Sleep" option in the Bios and switched it on. In the last days the battery just "only" lost 16%. Do i need to disable this stuff also in Windows?

Hi everyone, has anyone an idea what can cause energy drain on my HP Elitebook 8470p? In one week it loses 60% of it's charge on a brand new battery while switched off. I have disabled USB Port charging (so the ports are not powered the whole time), Windows quick start is also disabled. I am running Windows 8.1 Embedded Version, can this be part of the problem? For work i use an Elitebook 840 G5 with Win 10, but this problem does not occur. On that machine it might loose 10% switched off in one week. I am really at the end of my knowledge and my google searches did not bring any help... Regards, Philipp

Hi everyone, I have an Asus Z390-F Gaming and recently swapped my I5-9600k to an I7-9700k. I had to disable the AI Overclock Feature of the Mainboard since I get BSOD or my PC freezes. Is there any way to 'reset' or clean the data the AI is using? So that I can use the feature again or do i have to manually overclock? Thanks for any help! Regards, Philipp

Which sounds nice and all, but what confuses me is that it got the location for the weather right. I have disabled the use of location information in the privacy settings, so how did they get it?
