fuck me man, I just hit some kid on my way home from school on his bike. 

 

I was going ATLEAST 15-20 mph Cracked my window and my bumper, but i hope he's alright. just came out in front of me without warning when the sun was in my eyes. Says he didn't see me because of the car in front of me.

    Scary tbh.

     

    Though it doesn't look like the way you drew was really an intended crossing so I mean sorta his negligence but could be argued yours too. 
    The most he/his insurance might be able to do is get you/your car insurance to pay a certain percentage of any medical bills related to the incident.
