  1. I myself have the K70 Rapidfire and only thing i experienced is that sometimes. very rarely the capslock, or numlock or any other lock stays on even though its turned on and then stops glowing when i turn it off(reversed efect). But that is due to unexpected blue screen, or poweroff or something like that, otherwise I didnt experience any problems you are writing here. Well as you said you had it for couple of months, so its time for a warranty claim (same thing as RMA, just you give it to the shop where you bought it and they will RMA it for you). I am sure at least 1 year warranty exists on that keyboard wherever you buy it
  2. i got 1070 with 4790k both oced hard and some games have problems running Vive at 90fps as is needed from vive. Especially in The Climb -> for that u need at least 1080 or more to run it at 90fps and also having decent graphics in it. But for most games 1070 is enough. But less i would not be sure if it is enough.
  3. there is a workaround through teamviewer You would stream your whole desktop to your mobile device.
  4. IF you are willing to spend 650$ then i would recommend look for IPS 1440p 144hz (because that is a price you are able to find some, i think i got mine PG279Q for 670$ which is just awesome). Yeah what i meant by that explanation is that a lot of manufacturers claim that 2K is 1440p and 4k is something which in reality is not true, but it sounds good for the customer.
  5. The difference is quite huge actually when it comes to price, IPS 144hz starts somewhere around 500$ i think. TN is good choice IF these conditions are met: you place your monitor right and wont be moving a lot around your desk to look at it from multiple angles you dont have the monitor right next to a window so that the sun can shine on it from the side, because then you wont see much you are not planning to watch movies on it with multiple people at one time(more than 3) since only the middle person will enjoy the full quality of the monitor. As to the monitor itself Acer XG270HU is a nice monitor, though it has Freesync, something you dont really need/can use since you are going Nvidia not AMD. For the money its a great monitor. Check also Benq and AOC lineup of 144hz 1440p monitors
  6. 1080p is 1K ... since 4K has 4Times the amount of pixels that 1080p has... (so you got it wrong too) edit: nwm, there is a lot of opinions on this, you are right, i am right. From one point of view to the other for 16:9 1080p is 1K, for native resolution 2k is actually closer to 1080p than 1K. As for 4K in 16:9 it is refered to as 2x 2K so 2x 1440p, or 4k 1080p (for 16:9) in reality, in native resolution, its not true. Since the names are very different, when it comes to TVs there is a TON of stuff that is called 2K or 4K which in reality isnt that resolution. Is only sounds better.
  7. I dont think ultrawide monitor is worth the money, especially not for fps gaming, since in a lot of case the games arent optimised to run in 21:9 so some of the GUI is missing (f.e. CS:GO you cannot click join game, change team in game etc.). Its great for racing games, because of that extra emersion, and for working because you have more space(3-4 documents open on one monitor and being able to swap between them and read them without a problem is nice). But for FPS gaming like destiny i would not consider it. As to what you are looking for, do you want it to be IPS? or TN is also good? (IPS has better colours, better looking angle but is more expensive)G-sync is not a must with 144hz monitors i think, tearing most of the time is not an big issue with the new titles.
  8. if you're looking to use Trident Z RGB on the AMD X370 chipset motherboards and Ryzen 7 series CPU, then you can consider one of the following:F4-2400C15D-16GTZRF4-2400C15Q-32GTZRF4-3200C14D-16GTZRPlease note that 3200MHz CL14 is only compatible with the 8GBx2 capacity configuration, and 8GBx4 is not recommended. From official G.Skil forums-> answer by the G.Skill administrator. Read more here https://www.gskill.us/forum/showthread.php?t=14263 enjoy have a nice day
  9. Its a shame u cant go Ryzen, it would be the best alternative of those listed above. But maybe tehre is a solution: http://www.anandtech.com/show/11182/how-to-get-ryzen-working-on-windows-7-x64
  10. mine looks fine, dou you have internet problems? Maybe try restarting router. This usually happens when the bandwith is too small and only text is downloaded to keep the loading time small.
  11. Solution might be 15m extension usb cable at which end you would have a self powered usb hub. EDIT: after a few google searches this is a great answer i found: I have used a 5 meter usb extension cable + the 1 meter camera cable for a security camera in another room that was no problem but it looks like that is the safe limit. The 2.0 specification limits the length of a cable between USB 2.0 devices (Full Speed or Hi-Speed) to 5 meters (or about 16 feet and 5 inches). In other words, you cannot just connect a bunch of extension cables together (like taking a 6 foot cord and extending it with 4 other 6 foot extension cords) and run them 30 feet to another room. However, you can connect a 6 foot cable with a 10 foot extension cable for a total of 16 feet, which is below the maximum cable length for USB 2.0. How to break the USB length limitations: With the USB specs limiting the length of cables, is there a way to extend those limits? Yes! However, in order to go beyond these cable length limits (or recommended lengths) you need to use self-powered USB hubs or active (repeater) cables; both of which have their own limits as well. Other options such as USB over Ethernet or building your own USB bridge can extend the USB range further. Maximum length of USB active (repeater) cable: This number depends if you are using a regular cable with an active cable or not. If you are not using a regular cable, then the maximum active cable length for USB 2.0 is 30 meters (98 feet and 5 inches) and the maximum recommended length for USB 3.0/3.1 is 18 meters (about 59 feet). If you are using a regular cable (max length of 5 meters for 2.0 and max length of 3 meters for 3.0/3.1) with an active cable, then the maximum length for USB 2.0 is 25 meters (about 82 feet) and the maximum recommended length for USB 3.0/3.1 is 15 meters (about 49 feet). Is there any way to go beyond the limit of active cables or hubs? There are other ways you can extend a USB signal beyond the 30 meter limit. You can use USB over Ethernet to achieve distances up to 100 meters (about 328 feet). Additionally, you can build your own USB bridge to transmit data over different communication channels such as wireless methods.
  12. do you have a lot of programs opened when playing gta? It could be that your RAM, not VRAM usage is too high and it start writing stuff onto hdd to keep info as is normal, that might slow things down substantially EDIT: okey i see the problem now, you are using integrated GPU, that means it doesnt have own VRAM and is using system RAM as VRAM, therefore when you play for a longer amount of time all VRAM is RAM, and your RAM usage is at 100% so the PC starts writing all to ssd to keep all the information. Solution: try lowest settings possible or get a dedicated GPU
  13. i dont think they are in need of a so expensive solution, any decent webcam can be used when you use an usb extender i think. The usb extension is like 15$ for 15m
  14. What about a similarly priced XEON? Intel® Xeon® Processor E3-1230 v6 f.e. It has compatibility with win 7. Should be similarly priced as the 7600k, has 4 cores 8 threads (very helpfull for multipple running application at once)
  15. It seems that your workload would benefit from an SSD but in long term the ssd will be degrading fast, since SSD memory is not meant for rewriting data all day long. For that an HDD is needed. As for the CPU, from what you written you have a lot of applications which have to run a lot of tasks at the same time, therefore i would suggest go for rzyen for sure, Hyperthreading will be your savior + the more cores the better. So its up to you. At least 4 cores are a must and also hyperthreading is a must. Maybe even consider some XEON if zou can find them REALY cheap, but ryzen should be the best choice. I would go for the 1600 if i could afford it. As for the GPU if wont be gaming or videoediting at all just buy something like 1030/550 for 50$ as a graphics driver (which is cheaper, but i think the 1030 should be cheaper)
  16. Watercooling is not only about performance, its about the looks, the fact that is near silent even at full load, the performance(is a factor especially with custom loops), the process you have to invest to build it yourself (unless you buy AIO cooler), it takes MUCH MUCH less space than similarly performing air cooler and its the little bit more you can have if you pay extra. Plus having a PC is like having a car, you ahve to invest in it and take care of it. If you dont it will die early and you will have to buy a new one/repair it. Not really, you ahve to clean dust from time to time. As to AIOs, what maintenance are you talking about? (its even lower maintenance then Air, since it normally has lower temps so the thermal paste dries out slower...., yeah there are more risks than a fan dying)
  17. I am using heaven benchmark -> great benchmark for both cpu and gpu(mainly for GPU). So you will know if your cpu bottlenecks your gpu
  18. I have 144hz 1440p ips as a main gaming monitor and second one 1440p 60hz as a applications/internet/video monitor, gaming on utlra is absolutelly fine while watching a video or doing something on the second monitor. OH forgot to mention i also have a 1070
  19. Ebay then, tehre will be someone in EU that will buy it for reasonable price edit: i just checked it looks like they are selling for around 100-120euros second hand in europe. Edit edit: for 230 ou can have a 1060 3gb which is more powerfull and needs less power than 2x 760. But if you were willing to upgrade the PSU then go for 1060 6gb/480 8gb /580 8gb you should be able to get one of those under 260-300euros pretty easily Only in Slovakia i found like 8x 1060 8gb, 5x 480 8gb and one 570 under 300euros. The cheapest was 259e for a 1060 8gb with 15 months of warranty left... So it should be pretty easy to do the same in italy After you sold the 760 ofcourse
  20. On the prohibited side of things, if he doesnt want to spend money he can ehm ehm "buy" the games from the internet without having to use keys.
  21. No, you definitely dont need to change, its a completely different case. He is buying a new PC, so it is understandable he wants to get the most for his money, and make it so it lasts the longest no? Last year, when the 7700k was not available, the choice was between 4790k and 6700k from which the 6700k was th better choice from the long term and what you were getting standpoint. This changes with every new architecture, even though you are spending maybe 30$ mroe on the newer chip, but you get newer architecture (which is almost allways more powerfull/needs less power), maybe some new features that come with it. I myself have 4790k which i bought 2 years ago and i am not planning t o upgrade it to 7700k any time soon, its perfectly good chip. Yeah i am running on watercooling and delided it so i have temps of 56*C at 4.7-4.8 GHz at 1.3-1.35V but still, the performance difference absolutely not worth for me to spend another 600$ on a new mobo+ram+cpu. And the performance difference is max 10-20% which is in my opinion nothing when you are not rendering stuff with it etc etc, which a X700series are not designed for...
  22. newest is the 5, but no other has been yet anounced
  23. get the 7700k then, if you are not willing to wait longer for the newer architecture which is coming.
  24. If you wouldnt miss the extra you would pay for 7700k that buy that, so it lasts you longer since its newer/more powerfull cpu (not by much). For csgo and rs siege its a little overkill, dunno what gpu you are getting though. So Buy the 7700k if you wont miss the money, 6700k if you have very tight budget.
