  1. It just happened again although this time when I looked at it, my hard drive wasn't there. So maybe this is a hard drive problem? All I do is just turn the computer off, wait a few seconds and everything boots up normally again.
  2. Yes. I went back to bios menu and the only boot option was my hard drive.
  3. I get this message randomly, and it just happened again. I can go on fine now, but every once a while it shuts everything down then says that my current boot is not fully supported. What's wrong? My mother board is Asus M597 r2.0 And I have windows 8.1. Is there anything else you need? I'm trying to boot with my hard drive. It's a WD blue 1 tb. I looked it up and it said something about flashing bios or updating it. Will that work? Will I have to buy my OS again? I really don't want to considering it was $129 and I don't have the money anymore and I won't have it for a long time. How do I go about flashing/updating my bios?
  4. I thought building computers and helping others would be fun, but yeah. Everything you want to do is in low demand, everything you can't do is in high demand. I don't really know what to do for a career. I feel like I'll be working at a retail store for the rest of my life. Not that I even work in one now. Never had a job.
  5. My computer came with an nvidia network card. I bought it a few years ago. Today I factory reset it because I built a new computer and gave my old one to my parents. I can't seem to get a signal with the network card though. It's enabled and it's in the room next door. It won't get a signal.
  6. I was told to create custom and click on new, but I forgot that step. What I did was, click custom and then just clicked on okay/next. Will it automatically make a partition for me? Or does something else happen. I'm not noticing anything so far.
  7. Man, I'm not cut out for all these computer stuff. lol. Thank you though, it worked.
  8. Am I in the right place to post this? Um, I click the sign out button and everything works fine. I close this tab and open a new one and it says for me to log in, but when I close the browser all together I come back to this site and I'm already logged in when I didn't sign in. How do I log out? And stay logged out until I sign back in.
  9. A little. I mean it looks okay, but it's a bit plain and ordinary. So, non-reference is the most preferred for efficiency? Is Sapphire one? They look like sports cars in the video card world.
  10. Shot at the dark, is reference like "original design"? Also, if I use an overclocked video card with a processor that's not overclocked, what will happen? Will it run fine? Or will it blow up in my face (Not literally, or at least I hope not literally.)?
  11. I looked into broadwell and they said it will be smaller than the haswell chips. Cool though, less power used, but being more efficient/just as good.
  12. Is there a difference between different card companies? For example the R9 280x, there are GIGABYTE, MSI, XFX, Sapphire, and a bunch others that make this card. Is there any difference in perfomance/structure? Or is it just different companies and different decorations? Because (I'm not buying this card, very expensive to me.) looking at the different card companies, they're really ugly to me. I like Radeon's decoration. Simple rectangle with the red spiral stripes.
  13. Everyone I asked has suggested this with the r9 270/280 (I forgot  ) for a budget build, but they always talked about it being overclocked. I don't want to overclock (first computer I'm building, I don't want to go overboard even if you guys say it's "easy". I'm still new, and I rather not risk it.). So how is the pentium's performance with this card at it's normal pace. Like right out of the box. I also see that it's socket is LGA 1150, so in the future if I want to get a better processor, what do you suggest? I'll mainly use the computer for everyday general use (college and internet browsing and such.) and I'll play games. Sometimes I like things running in the background of my games. itunes for instance. Before I forget, I've heard mmo's and moba's were more cpu intensive than gpu. How will the g3258 perform at it's normal pace? MMO's and MOBA's are my fvorite types of games. Specifically types like Vindictus and Path of Exile. Edit: For MOBA's it's the usual LoL and Smite.
  14. Oh, I'm not really planning on overclocking. I'm still new so I don't want to do anything I don't know yet. Only has one pci-e slot, but it's fine. I don't really plan on expanding with crossfire/sli. Oh and I remember you. I saw on another post your info thing was funny so I read it. We al dy.
  15. Will this work? http://pcpartpicker.com/p/WZWWJx I went with AMD build because I heard they were better at multitasking. I like to put itunes on in the background while playing games. Also, I looked at the parts and they're all available at the tigerdirect store I live near. Hey I see intel pentium G3258 a lot. How does it compare with other processors?
