  1. This, unfortunately, doesn't work for me, too.
  2. Okay, so my friend's GTX 460 SE suddenly stopped working. Now, Windows detects it as a VGA Display Adapter. Installing drivers doesn't work (system restarts with a black screen. HDD can be heard spinning down) flashing the BIOS also didn't work. Any ideas?
  3. Fans are around 50%, or around 2500 RPM. Really quiet, too!
  4. I just recently bought a used Asus GTX 760 DCUII OC from a friend for $180, which he bought new last November. The card doesn't overclock very well. (a measly +100 on the core (1106 mhz), and +400 (1752 mhz) on the memory) from stock. This slight overclock only gives me about 5-7 more FPS in games, but the upside is that the card barely goes over 65c when gaming. And so, I wondered. Is it still worth overclocking this card for the extra 5-7 FPS? I want the card to last as long as possible, as upgrading is currently not an option. What do you guys think?
  5. TItle says it all. Can you, or can you not use a Dual GPU Graphics Card i.e Asus GTX 760 MARS, GTX 690, etc. on a non-SLI/CF board?
  6. Sad, but true. I have a hard time accepting it though. Seeing all them 760 owners hitting 1300mhz with their cards is honestly very discouraging.
  7. Well, I'm a "60 FPS minimum!" advocate, so an extra 5-10 frames would've been nice if it overclocked well.
  8. Sadly, I think I did. The old Zotac GTX 760 I had prior to this with the reference cooler went up to as much as 1267 on boost, but sounded like a jet while doing so.
  9. Okay, so an Asus GTX 760 DCUII OC will have a stock core clock of 1006 mhz, and a stock boost clock of 1072 mhz out of the box. My card has an actual boost clock of 1097 under gaming loads, and doesn't seem to want go any higher than that, even with the Power Limit at 115% on Afterburner. The maximum overclock I got with my card was 1106 Mhz on the core (+100), 1172 mhz boost, which ramps up to 1188mhz under load. Any higher than that, and the Nvidia drivers crash. Temperatures, even with an overclock, barely touch the 70C mark. Did I get a bad card? I've seen others with the same card go up to as much as 1267Mhz on the boost clocks, all without even touching the voltages. Also, I don't know if it matters, but its ASIC Quality is only at 64.9%. Any insights would be highly appreciated. 10. Hey guys I was just wondering, will the Phenom II X6 1055T be better at gaming (while recording at 1080p with Fraps) than the i3 3220? My graphics card is a 270X btw. Thanks!
  11. I was looking for a review on an AMD chip I was planning to buy and found Linus' review on the exact same chip on YouTube. Been watching your videos ever since. There was always something about Linus' on cam presence that makes his videos very compelling to watch. Congrats on the millionth guys! Keep making them awesome stuff!
  12. He plays pretty much everything, really. Watch_Dogs, Metro Last Light, BF4, AC4 etc. Also, I forgot to mention, he'll be recording his games so he could upload them to Youtube later. He's starting a Let's play type of channel. So, does AMD have something like Shadowplay found on Nvidia cards?
  13. I was shopping around looking for used graphics cards for my little brother's gaming rig and found a 650Ti BOOST for around $114 and a Sapphire Radeon R9 270X for around $160. Should I get the BOOST or the 270X? Is the 270X worth the extra $50?
