Hi, I am in need of a new GPU for my PC but unsure what would be the best suited for my setup. My use case is for gaming only. Was thinking 3080 but I'm unsure if 40 series would be a better option? Thanks 5900x ASUS stix 570-e mobo 32gb RAM 850w PSU

Building a new PC and just wondering if should go RAID 0 or use Microsofts built in method? I'll explain further I'm going to have 2x 2tb M.2 drives in my system and I want to combine them. I like the idea of multiple drives but I want to consolidate them for one drive. I wont be saving important data on the drives so if a failure it's not a huge loss. Just want a combine 4tb whats my best options?

I am looking at building a new PC but I just need an answer on the last piece to the puzzle. I'll be getting a Phanteks Eclipse P500A D-RGB case and with that it comes with 3 RGB fans and case lighting. With the fans and case lighting you can connect it to your MoBo with a cable so I can sync all my lighting but not sure if this cable is going to do what I need. From my understanding, the fans have a daisy chain feature so I can link the RGB together with my fans and also connect my case lighting to the daisy. But the link I've provided, is that what I need to then connect the fans and case lighting to my MoBo? I just don't want to buy this new PC and that cable and have it not be the right thing. I've tried contacting both PCCG and Phanteks but no response still hoping someone knows de way! https://www.pccasegear.com/products/37524/phanteks-rgb-led-adapter-cable TIA

I am looking at purchasing the Phanteks Eclipse P500A D-RGB case and it says that it has a built in RGB controller since the case can control the RGB. In the manual it also says you can connect the RGB to a mobo header to control it via software which is what I want to do. But no video shows me how the connection works for the case lighting and the preinstalled fans. Do the fans come with a daisy chain to be able to daisy the RGB together then use an adaptor to connect to the mobo or what is actually happening here? I just want to be able to control the 3 included fans and the case lighting via software but I am not sure if I need to buy any extra cables or a controller. Please halp

For the lighting I was thinking of using JackNet RGB Sync, it takes all the different RGB sources and places them into the one software enabling you to control all of it. Which I hope that's how it works. But would you suggest I change the mobo or how would you get around this situation? As for the RAM I was thinking of going with 2 16gb sticks but I like the look of 4 filling out the slots and I'll be using this PC for gaming so I don't think I'll ever need more than 32gb of RAM

Budget (including currency): $4500 - $5000 Country: Australia Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Games Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I just have a couple of questions. The fans I am looking at using will be going through the hub that is provided which will then go into a sys fan header/cpu fan header. For software to control the RGB, should I use Corsairs software or MSI's software? Because the case lighting can be plugged into a mobo header which I'll need to use MSI's software to control that lighting or how should this work? I'd like all the lighting in the case to be the same. Along the similar lines should I get an MSI GPU and RAM or can different branded products software communicate to again match all the lighting or how should I go about this? Any tips on things I could change to make this all compatible is welcome or just change in products for a better product is welcome! Thanks PC: https://www.pccasegear.com/wish_lists/1155913/pc%20amd

Hi All! I am looking at getting a new router/modem cause I need a new one. The modem/router combo I have now is good but limited in what it can do for instance I have a VPN I want to run over the network but I can't because it doesn't support L2TP VPN servers. The VPN service I use is ExpressVPN the most sort after VPN service in Australia and they told me I need a router that can support L2TP. For me to upgrade to something like this I want to go to a more advance setup with a separate modem and router maybe even a switch for possible expansion. What are some suggestions everyone has? In the future I would possibly run a NAS off it so I want capabilities for that. Also I have in the house about 2 LAN connections (more like 5 but one of the LAN connections runs into a switch) and approximately 10 - 12 wireless devices. Not all running and using the internet at the same time so probably 5 max at once. I'm open to all suggestions, also I have a ADSL2+ line but moving to NBN soon which should still connect like a ADSL2+ line would. Thanks for all the help!! If you're in need of more info please ask!

Hey, Everyone!! I am looking at getting a new rig and I made this rig on PC Case Gear which is an Australia PC parts site. Link Below I like the stuff that I have in the rig now I just want some suggestions on what I could change to enhance the build. I don't want to go over $4000 mark so if I can keep it under I will. I also want to change the case. The mobo I have chosen can support front panel USB 3.1 and I want a case that has that or something just as good. I can't find anything and maybe someone will have a good idea on what I can use. If there are any suggestions as to changing some parts let me know and I can look into it further!! PC Part: https://www.pccasegear.com/wish_lists/630445/2016 v2 Thanks Scott!!

I understand that but, the one I said the modem router can I use that?

So what would you suggest, does the one I suggested work?
