I know there are a bunch of sarcastic reviews on here. But in all honestly this is the best cable I've ever purchased. The picture quality is so clear that my TV actually makes it look like I'm really there. My flat screen has never been better. Games are also incredible too, the sound quality and picture quality are actually enhanced beyond what I'm sure the developers intended. Also it doesn't mention it, but if you have 3D capability on your TV this cable makes it more real than ever before. I was watching Girls Gone Wild 4 and beautiful women actually walked out of my TV and had a champaign party with me, after a night of serious fun I woke up with an extra $1,000,000 in my bank account. I asked the bank if this was a mistake but they told me AudioQuest wanted to thank me for my loyalty by sending me a Christmas gift. They said they'd do every holiday (even Labor Day!). Ever since I decided to buy this cable my life has been nothing but cocaine and strippers.

I just picked up this monitor: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00VRCLHYS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and loving it. Its also one of the 12 on the Nvidia G-sync compatible list for Freesync monitors. Surprisingly it has decent colors out of the box to my naked eye. I switched from an older IPS display to this and beyond a slightly dimmer display, it has good colors as best I can tell. 

its 1440p 144hz. 
 
So G-sync/Freesync helps eliminate screen tearing experienced in games. 

my dad put his sweater of the directTV box because the light on it was bothering him (but the TV wasnt? idk either) 
i asked him to remove it, or else the box would kill itself, its fanless, has shitty heatsinks in there and covering the small amount of venting it does have is going to kill it.

because......... my laptop is a A10 4600m @1.4Ghz 6 gigs of 800mhz ram 4 system 2 video-mem 7660G from the A10 and over heats before windows finnishes loaading. 
i have to have two deskfan underneath it at 100% speed to keep it from overheating watching youtube videos. 
idle temps without the fans are in the mid-80's
