    2, because more creates issues.

@manikyath what kind of issues? I have 7 and the only issues I find is boot from off to desktop takes about 3 seconds longer for my graphics to load all the shit.

would happily use more than two if my PC even support more than two display (i use small sff dell ssytem because of space constraint) and i have more desk space.

get higher res displays, it'll change your opinion on many monitors ;)

    Scruffy90

    1 1440p ultrawide + 2 1440p monitors

  7. BurgerBum

I've tried higher res, for people like me, number of monitors with the same number of pixels outweighs less monitors.

I'm 100% open to the idea of the same amount of monitors I have now and them all being higher res, I'm just not that interested in less monitors for the sake of higher res.

  9. manikyath

    manikyath

    you need a quadro.

  10. BurgerBum

    BurgerBum

What does that have to do with it? ;p

  11. Scruffy90

    Scruffy90

@BurgerBum what are you using 7 monitors for?

  12. manikyath

    manikyath

because with the nvidia drivers for quadro cards you can split montiors into multiple virtual displays :D

  13. BurgerBum

with visual borders, different resolutions, orientations, and different angles facing me? I don't think so. ^~^ @manikyath.

@scruffy90 four at my desk for productivity, two TV's at my bed (one LCD one CRT.) and one mounted on an arm at my bed for late night youtube.

    manikyath

^ that is why i have a media center..

  15. BurgerBum

    BurgerBum

How do you mean media centre?

  16. manikyath

    manikyath

seperate PC to bolt all the TV's to :D

Quadros are so expensive though :(

  18. manikyath

    manikyath

doesnt have to be new ;)

  19. BurgerBum

    BurgerBum

@manikyath yes, I'll build two seperate computers fully capable of gaming on ultra and emulation rather than just one and a longer cable. :P

  20. manikyath

    manikyath

    @BurgerBum steam in-home streaming.

  21. BurgerBum

    BurgerBum

Why would I stream to a TV when its fucking 7 feet away. Just get a cable.

  22. manikyath

    manikyath

because i found it more practical than dealing with one pc having displays all over the place

  23. BurgerBum

    BurgerBum

    I don't see how.
I'm more efficient to get used to one tool that does everything than having multiple tools that do similar things in different scenarios. but okay. xD

  24. manikyath

    manikyath

it's like those multitools that take half an hour to unfold because they have SO MANY tools, instead of just having a box of pliers.

I don't see how taht applies to a computer.
I walk over to where I wanna use the computer at, and open up what I want. Instantly. it doesn't take extra time to go through hundreds of menus to get to emulation on a different screen.
