I am so sad right now. I just got my evga sc gtx 980 today in the mail. I got it all hooked up in my pc. I connected the cards power by using the moles converters that came with the card. My power supply is a corsair 750w 80plus bronze certified. I turned on the PC, smelled smoke then all of a sudden boom the card caught on fire. Is this my fault? is it evga's? Can I return it to amAzon with out them knowing its fried? Please help me!!! This is a 500 dollar card!!
So my brother just got an evga gtx 980 and his current power supply is a corsair 500 watt 80 plus bronze certified. Is this power supply big enough or should he get a bigger one
So i was looking at the BIC f-12 but the reviews said it was better for movies than music. I want a sub strictly for music. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
looking for a 2.1 amp/receiver that will be able to run a BIC f12 under $100 USD. I was looking at the SMSL SA50 50Wx2 TDA7492 Class D Amplifier that was recommended to me by a user on this forum. The only problem was that the amp did not have a sub output. Now i may be going full retard here but i don't think this amp will work. Sorry for being a noob.
Hey, So i want to get 2 speakers, one for each side of my desk and a subwoofer. I was wondering what the best speakers where for under $300 USD. I want a lot bass. I care more about the lows then the highs. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Thank you for the replies. A 980ti is out of his budget and a 980 is pushing it. I guess I didn't understand how hard it is to run triple monitors. I will talk to him. What about and ultra wide monitor? Would just one of those be easier to run.
