  1. Maybe because my local account wasn't the original? I have no clue cause I get updates and everything no problem.
  2. Been working there for months, 5 days a week and it's done fk all to bug me.
  3. Looks fine. People will suggest Intel for gaming though.
  4. Can you not just download the ISO off their website legit?
  5. Not my computer so not my problem if it locks up. It's just something I've noticed while I've worked there that it performs just like my activated copy at home despite not being activated. Again, bar the watermark.
  6. I've heard there's a chance it (Windows) won't be happy with the mobo or something and will see it as you trying to use the same key on 2 computers or something. Could just not activate Windows. That's what my work PC is like and I haven't had any issues with it tbh (besides a watermark saying to activate Windows on the bottom right of the main monitor).
  7. I agree with your's for the most part. Not sure if I'd count the Lizard Squad thing as a fail.. Maybe just a something. Anita's just full of shit.
  8. Many (myself included) will question your choice to go for Razer. Regardless, yeah I'd say wait till CES is over.
  9. You've probably set it to sync apps. Go to your google accounts in settings and make sure app sync is turned off for all accounts.
  10. This isn't answering your question but why not just get a powerline adapter?
  11. Get rid of the pins and it should be fine.
  12. Everything looks fine. PSU may be a bit overkill. Maybe get an ssd in there for the OS for even more snappiness?
  13. Just don't say what games you plan on using the controller for and there won't be a flame war. Bluetooth or dongle and you'll probably need to get the drivers off Microsoft's website.
  14. From what I've heard from this forum - amd may seem cheaper at first but their stock coolers are terrible and make a lot of noise (though they will get the job done) but you'll definitely need an aftermarket cooler for OC'ing.
  15. Wacom intuos is what I use. There's a bit of a learning curve since you're not looking where you're drawing but it'll do the job.
  16. Note 4. Only phablet that actually has software to make use of its screen size.
  17. You should be able to set the new monitor at its own resolution. Windows' text scaling may be ass but icons and stuff shouldn't look stretched out or anything.
  18. What are you looking to backup? As I said before, if you're looking for the same kind of backup you get with iPhones then you'll need to be willing to root your device which, while simple for those that know what they're doing, is a daunting task for those that don't.
  19. A lot of stuff is synced across Google's server but if you want a literal backup like you get on iPhones then you'd need to root the device. If there are specific things like texts you want backed up, I'm not sure if Hangouts sorta does it automatically by syncing (provided you switch to making it your default sms app) but there are apps that don't require root that could probably do this for you.
  20. I may try this in the future. I often feel like I hit an edge on my K70 when I hit the spacebar. YES
  21. If this isn't gonna be a dedicated rendering machine you could probably survive with an i5 and 8GBs of RAM and I know you haven't listed it but you won't need an aftermarket cooler for your cpu since you're not oc'ing and even AMD's stock coolers are competent and since Intel's are way better you're fine. May not even be that loud. Oh and your PSU may be overkill. Note everything I've said is just for the sake of saving money if you're interested. With the exception of the PSU if I had the money I'd probably get what you've listed too. Well if I had the money I'd get a 980 but yeah.
