  1. These look wired?... Did you mean the G933?
  2. Enough for gaming? So would I be looking for something using bt 5 or would 4 suffice?
  3. Looking for a wireless replacement for my M50x. I've noticed the Steelseries 840 but I'm weary of sound quality. How are bt headphones for latency? These headphones would mainly be used on my desktop where I game a lot so latency would be important (Steelseries use some proprietary thing which may/may not be good). Anyone got any recommendations for a m50x replacement (so similar sound sig) but wireless and low latency? I'm in the UK and ideally working with a budget around £200, but can go up to £250. Suggestions around £300 are fine since I may be able to get them on sale. Thanks.
  4. Maybe someone more knowledgeable can inform me, but for what possible reason could management handcuff cpu developers?
  5. Oh and I missed out Skype but I use it for a very specific purpose. Personally I hate how it's such a massive pain to get to the bottom of the chat on there though so I don't rate it very highly.
  6. SMS mainly. Some Whatsapp (never paid for it - and to clarify, I haven't done anything illegal or w/e, the app's just never prompted me for money). I would probably use FB messenger since almost everyone's on FB but I don't use it so that's not an option for me.
  7. Ah okay. Tyvm for your advice.
  8. So just to clarify, you'd recommend I'd get the APC between the 2 I suggested?
  9. Thanks I'll take a look. As for my system, it's the following: CPU: Intel Core i5-4690 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor (£169.28 @ Amazon UK) Motherboard: MSI H81I Mini ITX LGA1150 Motherboard (£50.99 @ Amazon UK) Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-2133 Memory (£49.07 @ Aria PC) Storage: Crucial BX100 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive (£65.15 @ Amazon UK) Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (£32.40 @ Aria PC) Video Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 4GB WINDFORCE Video Card (£265.99 @ Aria PC) Case: Silverstone ML07B HTPC Case (£51.00 @ Scan.co.uk) Power Supply: Silverstone 500W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular SFX Power Supply (£67.80 @ Scan.co.uk) Total: £339.07 And I guess I'd like at least 1 monitor up too. Ideally 2. Not sure if I've done it right but its recommendations are several hundred pounds. Is this realistically what I should be looking at and the ones I suggested are just no good?
  10. Been dealing with a lot of power cuts recently (caused by incompetent people, not weather) and getting fed up with it both disrupting work and possibly damaging my computer so I've started looking into backup power supplies. So here are my questions for the more knowledgeable: Are these good value in general for individuals/personal machines? What is the sort of "standard" duration I should expect? What sort of price range should I expect? Any good brands/names to look for specifically? Form factor? I'd ideally like smaller but I recognise this will decrease its capacity. Thanks in advance! EDIT: Oh and I'm in the UK so UK sources/currency would be appreciated. DOUBLE EDIT: Thoughts on these?: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Cyberpower-EX850E-UK-Series-Uninteruptible-Supply/dp/B00DI2ISL0/ref=pd_sim_sbs_23_23?ie=UTF8&refRID=1KT97RVW5ZXB2TZAWWH2 http://www.amazon.co.uk/APC-BE700G-UK-Interface-Power-Saving-Back-UPS/dp/B002RXED6A/ref=pd_bxgy_147_2?ie=UTF8&refRID=03MT66TDSCN229DWMFWK
  11. They're a thing at certain stores. Quite big too. When I was considering buying a MBP I could get a higher speced machine for less money than the Dell XPS.
  12. Was looking at this and the specs are actually pretty decent for the (Kickstarter) price.
  13. Bootcamp if he wants to keep OSX.
  14. What did they do when shit didn't work? I highly doubt any support company would cover Win 98.
  15. So I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but I don't know where else.. I got a letter from the doctor about an appointment for a scan. At the bottom it mentions that music will be played during the scan and if " wish to bring [my] own CD may"... Who owns CD's anymore?

The rgb version has an optical sensor?... I can confirm my non-rgb model is laser. EDIT: and yes it's too expensive for a secondary.
  17. Drove auto ever since I passed my test. For a regular user the only reason for stick is price.
  18. Probably the Asus but I have no idea what your pricing is.
  19. It's your preference. Really need to test them out to tell which you prefer. EDIT: I'm sure someone will link "the thread" which will help you choose.
