  1. so I have to look for that whitelist on the internet? or is it something I can find in the BIOS itself?
  2. yes it is. Connector is mini PCI iirc https://es.aliexpress.com/store/product/Realtek-RT8723BE-802-11bgn-1x1-Wi-Fi-BT4-0-Combo-Adapter-752601-001-753077-001-for/226710_32616221542.html?spm=a219c.search0104.3.49.47c018ffV2tNWp&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_5_10065_10068_10547_10059_10548_10696_100031_309_10084_10083_10103_451_452_10618_10307_10820_10301_10821_10303_525,searchweb201603_60,ppcSwitch_5&algo_expid=fd40b708-e24c-4bd7-9499-1dfa4f16159f-7&algo_pvid=fd40b708-e24c-4bd7-9499-1dfa4f16159f&priceBeautifyAB=0
  3. Hello everyone! Well, ive got a little question, pretty sure that one's not gonna be hard to answer. I've recently bought Asus A541U laptop. Rubbish, but budget things. You know. Ive already added an SSD and 12GB RAM (Will be working with virtual machines). And now, it's time to change network adapter. Mine is Realtek RTL8723BE 802.11bgn. This little piece of s**t is only single band, 2,4GHz, and very limited on download speeds. Ive got a really good conection at my home (600Mb upload/download), and would love my laptop to be able to use at least some from its WiFi conection. Which adapter would you recommend me? Thanks in advance!
  4. too much difference between i7 7700HQ and I5 7300HQ? I need to run virtual machines and program using them, will I notice a difference between them? (dont take in account SSD)
  5. Well, i think I made my choice. Gonna save some money and buy ACER VX5, better processor than lenovo, SSD, 1050 and cheaper. I dont think 1050ti will be such a difference to choose lenovo over Acer. SSD and I7 will be more worthy I guess. any opinion? but I think thats pretty accurate, and seems like a good laptop. Thanks for your help!!
  6. HP Omen Refurbished, i7 7700, 8gb, 1050 about 700€ https://www.pccomponentes.com/hp-omen-15-ax209ns-intel-core-i7-7700hq8gb1tbgtx1050156-reacondicionado lenovo legion Y520, i5 7300, 8gb, 1050 about 720€ https://www.pccomponentes.com/lenovo-legion-y520-15ikbn-intel-core-i5-7300hq-8gb-1tb-gf1050-156 edit: no stock from those... gonna keep looking acer vx5 i7 77008gb, 1050 4GB, 1TB, SSD https://www.amazon.es/gp/product/B071DVCG4F/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A1AT7YVPFBWXBL&psc=1 about 750€ lenovo y520, i5, gtx1050ti about 800€ https://www.amazon.es/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_2?__mk_es_ES=ÅMÅŽÕÑ&url=search-alias%3Dcomputers&field-keywords=lenovo+y520&rh=n%3A667049031%2Ck%3Alenovo+y520
  7. 800€ max. Requirements -I7 7700 (or 6700, not that there is a big difference between them) -graphic card that allows to play most of games on a reasonable quality, but i can go with a simple one, like mx150, prefer processor over it. -allow me to open it and change parts like RAM, M.2 etc... without loosing warranty. (unless PC is really good so i wont need to do it) -Led keyboard if possible. would love to use it on nights without waking everyone with room lights. edit: These are the sites where i could buy it: www.pccomponentes.com www.coolmod.com www.amazon.es
  8. maybe this site doesnt have that lineup. at leats on my budget
  9. bit expensive for me. 750€ without graphic card... I5 7200... thats the only one i find on that website where im gonna buy it
  10. well... not exactly need it, but id like it, since it's my studying laptop, and will be my working laptop in the future, so I5 in a couple of years could be a bit more outdated than an i7. Also want that performance
  11. Hello! First of all, its use will be both programming and gaming. Also virtual machines etc... but mostly prog and gaming. Ive seen a couple of options and i hope you can help me choose: Option 1: MSI PL62 7RC-051XES Intel i7 7700HQ MX150 8GB RAM 1TB HDD 7200RPM PRICE: 675€ https://www.pccomponentes.com/msi-pl62-7rc-051xes-intel-core-i7-7700hq-8gb-1tb-mx-150-156 Option 2: HP Pavilion Power 15-CB032NS Intel i7 7700HQ GTX 1050 8GB RAM 1TB HDD 7200RPM LED KEYBOARD! PRICE: 746€ https://www.pccomponentes.com/hp-pavilion-power-15-cb032ns-intel-core-i7-7700hq-8gb-1tb-gtx-1050-156 Well, theyre mostly the same PC. 1050 is a bit better graphic card (about 20% as I have seen somewhere). Overall, HP looks like a better PC, at least on the sheet. Ive never had an MSI or a HP. but Ive read that HP voids warranty if you open it. (I plan to add M.2 and more ram later, so opening might be a warranty issue) while MSI doesnt. Absolutely no idea on durability, or easy access to parts. Ventilation, etc..... Whats your opinion?which should I pick? any other option on the same price range? Thank you in advance! Edit with links. Spanish website, but i think you cold have an idea.
  12. Well, I've listened about an individual fan control from MSI. I tried from afterburner, but it controls both fans at the time, I need to control only one. Which app should I use? It is twin Frozr v version...
  13. Do you know if your old hdd is IDE or SATA? important to know... (I guess SATA, cause 500gb but who knows..)
  14. I have the same thing, 130" 1080p, 60fps projector, home cinema 5.1, but a bed instead of a desktop, I also have a desktop at the same room with my 24" monitor for daily use
