  5. Hi! I have now 3-4years old computer and i was thinking about getting some fresh power into. The plan is switching to 144hz monitor + buy a new gpu. It will be used for games mostly at 1080p and solidwork program. My current setup: CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K Box, LGA1150 (overclocked to 4.3GHz) GPU: Sapphire Radeon R9 280 Dual-X OC mit MANTLE und Gaming Evolved Client, 3GB MOBO: ASRock Fatal1ty Z97 Killer, Sockel 1150, ATX RAM: 8GB G.Skill PC3-12800U CL11-11-11-28 PSU: Corsair VS Serie VS550, Non-Modular, 80+ CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - Intel/AMD HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200 1000GB, SATA 6Gb/s SSD: Crucial MX100 SSD 256GB (2,5", 7mm) I was looking about 600€ for both monitor and gpu together. I was looking at MSI - GeForce GTX 1060 6GB 6GB GAMING X Video Card for 330€ (385€ in my country) but then i found Sapphire pulse radeon rx 580 8GB for 270€ (470€ in my country) which is just insane price in my opinion. I was waiting for cyber monday or black friday in november but i just cant belive rx580 could be any cheaper. Should i just buy it and then maybe get monitor in november?
  6. Okay it looks like its your lucky day because i wasnt on this forum for few years and i just found your post So the way you check your motherboard is simple to take screws out of your PSP and check writing on it.. (look at lower left corner) Or by checking in hardware settings but i have never tried that
  7. Hello everybody! My gfs laptop is so outdated and cosmetically destroyed that we decided it should be replaced. We don’t care that it’s used but would like if it was refurbished professionally because we are under assumption that you never know what you would get… Computer will be used for: (nothing to much because we have mine gaming pc but gf shows interest in playing games) Playing CSGO at low settings but steady 60 fps Picture editing Watching movies Excel at work What I would like for computer: (just standard package, performance>>cosmetics) Windows not needed SSD dedicated GPU Refurbished At least 15.6’ Was looking at sites like http://www.ebuyer.com or http://www.laptopsdirect.co.uk. Are they any good? Were thinking about getting it from Germany or UK. We would like to get something around 400€ for starting budget. What about refurbished laptops? Any models that stands out? Ty for all help!
  8. Hi! I want to play racing simulation with my old wheel. I just opened the box and there is not working power adapter.. on wheel its written Power rating: 230 VAC 50Hz, 17 VA but adapter which came with wheel has written on it Input: 230V, 50Hz, 0.2A / Output 15VAC, 1A. Which adaptor do I need to buy? I am confused..
  9. Okay so i decided to close the top with black paper and sealing it with masking tape (to bad I do'nt have black one.. diy ghetto ftw) but didn't decided yet on PSU and side holes.. If I PSU leave it on bottom it will sucks dust from ground (hoping air filter will do its job) or if I flip it it will just wait there for dust to sit on it when the system is not working?
  10. Hi! I just recently bought completely new computer (parts etc..) and case Corsair Carbide series 200R. I was unwrapping the case and saw that it has only bottom and front filter.. there is wide hole on the top (for H100_) and 2 holes on the side for 120 fans.. I am thinking of closing at least the top hole with thicker black paper to go with matte black case and maybe on sides but I didn't decided yet.. I have second thought about restricting air flow or heating the computer? I have 2x120mm fans (front and back), Coolermaster Evo 212 for 4690K processor, R9280 graphic card. I will have it on desk because it is so beautiful

I found Linus tech tips on youtube so i told myself why not build myself brand new black box This is build I put together but I need comfirmation if its good all around. I need it for casual playing games, Solidworks and NX, watching anime and that is about all I do on computer Tell me what do you think.
