I can't believe it's finally happening, we've all been waiting too long for this. AMD is a serious competitor to Intel again atlast. Definitely worth the wait, thank you AMD. Needless to say, I am too excited!!

@JurunceNK @DarkBlade2117 Iv'e tried the LED behind my TV thing when it was hanging on a wall. It adds an effect of the TV kinda popping at your face and I find it distracting and fatiguing to look at after a while. -

I'll look forward to your review, these fans look pretty interesting. I'll also add the pricing to the original post. -
Source: http://www.corsair.com/en/landing/rgb Corsair has released a whole bunch of new products with RGB lighting control along with a couple new cases. New products include: (All pricing in USD) HD120 RGB Fans: $29.99 single fan, $49.99 single fan w/controller, $89.99 triple fan w/controller SP120 RGB Fans: $19.99 single fan, $39.99 single fan w/controller, $69.99 triple fan w/controller MM800 Polaris RGB Mouse Pad: $59.99 Carbide Air 740 Case: $149.99 Crystal 460x Case: $119.99 w/ 1x AF140L red LED and 1x AF140L fans, $139.99 w/ 3x SP120 RGB fans What do you guys think? RGB fans look cool but I like the 460x case because it looks super sexy and clean with it's tempered glass. I hope the next RGB product is the long anticipated RGB socks+sandals with an included RGB hat.

LG PF1000U Ultra Short Throw Projector Giveaway
UltraNeonGaming replied to CPotter's topic in LTT Releases
I think it's pretty crazy that you can project a 100" image from just 38cm away! With all it's features this is seriously the best consumer projector I've ever seen. I would definitely love to win one! Thank you LMG and LG for making this possible! -
Yup, you can cut those off. Just make sure no open contacts are touching.

Have you tried connecting the pump to a different header other than the CPU/OPT? I know you're aware that other headers have the option to disable the 75c limit. If you're out of headers you can use a double header adapter and plug a fan and the pump into a case fan header. I got the option to disable the 75c limit recently on my motherboard when I updated AI Suite. And as runit3 staed, a pro tip is to make sure that all your headers are set to PWM because they all default to DC. Check BIOS Qfan settings.
-
If you want to to bypass the 75c cap you can try changing something along the lines of "fan max power duty" in the bios to something lower than 100%. This will make it so when either Fan Xpert or the BIOS's on fan control (Which is only active when fan xpert isn't) set the fan duty to 100% it will not go over your specified limit but fan xpert/bios will still report and think that it's duty is at 100% but in reality the max duty will be whatever you set. BUT I highly ADVICE AGAINST doing this because your temps shouldn't be so high in the first place. The system will also run even hotter than it is now because it's not going to have the fans at 100%. Turns out that max fan duty only applies when your temps are under 75c: https://rog.asus.com/forum/archive/index.php/t-40988.html (Read at the bottom of page) So it's useless and I don't think there is a way to bypass it since the same 75c limit is also in the bios fan control. You shouldn't have to do all this crap anyway if your temps weren't getting so high, so for now just make sure that your CPU vcore is set to auto. If it already is, then something is wrong with your loop and it's causing these high temps
-
Yeah for the CPU fan on some motherboards like the ROG ones you can disable the 75c cap, on my normal asus signature series you can't and it's stupid that they put that limitation on a sabertooth board. But with a fully custom loop you obviously shouldn't be hitting 75c on stock speeds. The only thing that can cause your high temps if everything on your loop and mounting is fine is your CPU vcore (Voltage). Have you checked to see if it's set to anything weird in the bios? Make sure it's set to Auto (Default).
-
Hmm that's weird, have you checked the voltage being supplied to your CPU? I would reset your BIOS to factory settings and see if that helps. Also your fans run at 100% when the CPU hits 75c because that's a thing in AI Suite, you can turn that off in fan xpert. You should also play around with your fan xpert settings in AI suite, you'll be able to find the solution to your fan and pump RPM problems there.

Linus got his terminal custom made by EKWB, so EK already has the designs for the product so for them to release this was quite easy it was just a matter of them debating if it's worth it or not. I'm glad they decided it was worth it because companies releasing new products to see how they go is always a good thing.
-
Adding it now isn't a smart idea since things can change in your setup and you might have changed your mind on radiator choice and by the time you actually need another rad and you'll regret having bought one before. You already have to 2x 360's and adding a 3rd one really isn't going to give you a drop in temps (With your single 980 Ti)
-
What's your current water cooling setup? And why do you want to add another rad?
