One of my friends wants a wide-screen 4k monitor when his graphics card can barely handle 1080p.
My geography teacher didn't save a document after she changed the formatting and blamed it on her version of windows even after I said that she hadn't saved it. She then asked her assistant if she could borrow her version of windows.
My schools IT technician was told about a broken keyboard. He comes into the classroom and asks which computer it is. When he goes over to the computer, he doesn't turn it on or check anything. He takes the side panel off the computer, doesn't ground himself, turns the fan a bit and puts the side panel back on. Then, he pulls off the front panel(which is just a cover), looks at it strangely and then puts it back on. He unplugs the keyboard from the computer and bins it. He goes to his office and brings back a keyboard, plugs it in to the computer and turns it on. He presses Ctrl + alt + delete(For some reason, we need to press that to log on) and nothing happens, he didn't check any other ports or keyboards and takes the computer back to his office.
My ICT teacher thinks that clicking save doesn't work and you will lose everything in that file even if its already saved. She said that cookies slow down your computer significantly.
I installed Ubuntu on a computer when I was bored. After the technician figured out what I had done, he installed applocker on all the computers and blocked batch files because I had one on my USB. He set no bios password or anything like that and left the boot order at USB first.
One of my friends who claims he knows a lot about computers asked me how to hack games. I talked him through downloading low orbit ion cannon putting 127.0.0.1 into the address bar and told him to put a load of crap in the message. He actually thought it was hacking the game even after he noticed his computer was lagging. It took him about 15 minutes for him to realise what he was doing.

Exactly. I don't understand why people think its okay to not let them know. It might be "his" money, but he is 12. When I order something I tell my parents. They don't always agree but I tell them why I need or want it and explain how it will benefit from what I already have. They always explain that they don't WANT me to do it but if I think it's worth the money and I'm willing to pay for it and I have at least $2,000 saved for college, yes I know that's not much but my parents are going to pay for most of it, then they are usually fine with it. My dad usually asks me multiple times if I think that the extra money is really worth the small upgrade I would get. My mom still thinks that when I work on my computer I will break it. I didn't even tell her I was painting my graphics cards until she got home from vacation because she would disapprove thinking I would break them. You need to keep in mind paint is only like $8 which is pretty much a McDonalds meal so why not. Anyway, show them that they can trust you. Start small, older parts maybe, hit me up with a message, I might have something he might want, if he reads this. After time they will let you buy more and more. I was only allowed to buy a case and motherbord and PSU first because they wanted to show I knew what I was doing and that I really had a passion for it.Edit: Anyone know how hard it is to type this much on a damn phone. If they made full size keyboards for phones I would buy one..
