So if we would assume that motherboard \ sound card cant drive 600 OHM headphones what DAC+AMP would you recommend, ideally i don't want to put to much money on it, 250 would be highest im willing to spend on DACAMP. is there good 2in1 solution for this ? maby something like: SMSL SD793-II??? or is it just simpler to buy 250 OHM version so that i can defo run it? With prices like this its alot of money to put out, almost 500 total, starting to think if its worth it.

Cant plug in headphones yet, since i dont own em yet Otherwise it would be easy to find out if they work on my soundcard.

Hi My headset(Roccat Kave) broke few days ago, so i decided to get myself a good headphones and mic. After searching all over internet i decided on Beyerdynamic DT 880, Premium 600 OHM, but Im not sure if my current motherboard \ soundcard can drive this. My motherboard is: Asus Rampage IV Extreme and soundcard is: Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Champion Series So question is, can i run 600 OHM headphones on hardware i already have and still get good quality sound out, or do i need DAC and AMP(Like Magni 2 and Modi 2) to run this headset. Is there possibly cheaper 2 in 1 solution for DAC and APM to run 600 OHM headphones, i saw some like FiiO E10, but im not sure if they are good for 600OHM. Any advice is welcome, i got no idea about Audio stuff, and after 2 days of research i just gave myself more confusion and a headache.

I been thinking about this monitor. The way i see it atm if you want good monitor then you have 3 choices, 34UC97, Rog Swift, or Acers 4k Gsync. Tho i still cant decide Lack of Gsync on this one is saad.

so 4k gsync or 34UC97 ??

Will be watching channel closely to see review. PS: Need to know which one is better, LGs 34UM95(or curved) or 4k Gsync.
-
No launch in EU yet Makes me saad i want 95 one. PS: anyone knows when this baby comes to EU ?
-
Aye tho i think 2x 980 with max settings in games will still give you 50-60 fps (maby even more after they optimize drivers + if you remove AA and vsync) PS: Do we even need AA with 4k screen ? well maby 2-4x but after that i dont think result will be worth performance hit.

nop there is 1080p version of this monitor thats 144 refresh rate. 4k one is just 60hz After Edit: XB270HA <-- 27" 144Hz XB280HK <-- 28" 4k 60Hz

I heard that people specifically had issues with ROG Swift, not gsync in general. Tho cant be 100% on this.
