  1. I've already contacted the shop, but they might not be able to hand over the PC tomorrow, so I might aswell try out the method that you guys suggested, by installing the OS on a different PC, then swapping it. Is there anything that I should look out for, or should I proceed with the same methods that I've used on the "original" PC? There is currently a HDD and an SSD attached to the secondary PC, but I will remove them prior to installing Win10 on the new PC's SSD.
  2. Wouldn't that be a huge mess, considering I have a Haswell i3 CPU and DDR3 memory, but the PC with the faulty installation has a Ryzen3 and DDR4 memory?
  3. I would like to recieve a working one, if you'd be willing to share it with me.
  4. I've specifically asked them to make sure that the BIOS is the latest verison, but as far as I'm concerned it wouldn't even work without it, because I've purchased a Ryzen3 2200G, and the board is only able to support it after you've flashed it with like a Ryzen5. I'll try to install Windows 10 from the same pendrive, but this time I'll create an ISO file and place it on the pendrive with RUFUS, and se if that will make any difference. Thank you guys for your input, I'll make sure to write back after I'm done.
  5. That's exactly what I was thinking about. It copied the files, as the first step suggests fine every time, and it froze up either right after that, or later on, as I've mentioned it before.
  6. I've used the exact tool that you've linked, and I've also tried using the Home version, just to make things easier. I've contaced the shop, and they've told me to set the SSD to AHCI mode, which was alread at, and asked me to make sure that the connections are well-seated, which are also correctly done. As far as I'm concerned, the testing that they do, includes a day-long memtest, so the memory should not be an issue.
  7. That SSD is the only drive in the PC. After every attempt, I've deleted each and every partition found at the selection screen. On my first attempt, I was only able to enter Windows for a brief time, so I haven't had the chance to download the updates. On my second "most successful" attempt, I was able to install Windows most of the way, but it stuck on the updating devices step, as I've mentioned. I've read about it on a different forum, and they've said it could be a faulty component, but I'm not sure which one it could be, because I've even asked for testing at the shop I've purchased the PC from. The BIOS detects every component fine.
  8. Hey guys, I've encountered an issue with a new PC that I've purchased yesterday. I've brought it home, and I've inserted my pendrive with Windows 10 on it, created by the Media Creation Tool, but encountered a lot of issues. On my first attempt, I've almost managed to install the OS, but just as it was finishing up, it completely froze. The pulsating blue screen completely froze while doing one of the steps, and after waiting for a long time, I've restarted the system. After this, I was able to get into Windows itself, but the system was really unstable. It would freeze and stutter both in the BIOS and the OS, so I've decided to reinstall the OS. Before I've selected the SSD that I was going to install Windows on, I've ran diskpart and cleaned the SSD, and made sure that it was set to GPT. After this step, I've only been able to install Windows once, but it stuck on installing devices at 80%, at the black screen with the spinning circle. The other tries completely froze on preparing files, (the second step of the installation) either on 92, 57, 11, 9, 1 or 0 percent. My rig is the following: Asrock AB350M Pro4 Ryzen 3 2200G 8GB HyperX DDR4 RAM Samsung 860 EVO SSD Corsair CX450 Also, I haven't done any overcloking, nor change any of the settings besides the boot order in the BIOS. Thank you for your help in advance Alex
  9. Well, as I've stated it in my post I only use one router, and that's it, so no switches here As for the cable, it cannot be interference, because my cable comes in in the exact same way. As far as the outlet goes, both PCs in the room are connected to the same one, but I've already checked with one PC running at a time. Also, I've tested the "faulty" PC by disconnecting every other device from the network, but it made no difference. Oh, and as far as the router goes, I've tested enabling and disabling static IPs, I've made sure that settings such as bandwith and parental control are disabled, and I've pretty much left the router as it is. By the way, while we're at it. For the past weeks I couldn't figure out how to port forward, to enable creating servers in games that require it. I've enabled the required ports according to the requirements, such as setting it to both UDP and TCP, but I haven't been able to make any progress. For instance, whenever I try to host a server for the game Syergy, my friend cannot connect, even with directly connecting to my IP from the console. Anyways, thank you very much for your help, and I hope that this issue will be resolved.
  10. My home network is made up of a router, and four desktops connected via ehternet cables, and ocasionally, some smartphones via WiFi. Our ISP provides a guaranteed 50/20 MBits down and up, and on three out of the four desktops we achieve around 70 both up and down. My issue is, that on the fourth PC, we can only get results of around 10 MBits both down and up. So far, I've updated the BIOS, the LAN driver, reinstalled Windows, and also tried swapping cables, but my PC got the same 70/70 results, whereas my brother's PC only recieved his usual speeds of 10/10, so for me, that means that the cables are fine. My brother has recently moved out for a few months, and at the other location, he has managed to achieve the speeds provided by the ISP over there, without any issues, which lead me to think that it's not his motherboard causing the issue. I've also messed with the Duplex settings within Windows, and disabled any bandwith restrictions on both the router and in Windows, but I couldn't make any progress. Could you guys give me some feedback on what should I try next? Thank you for your replies in advance
  11. Oh, and also could you please make sure that the motherboard has a D-SUB port? We are planning to upgrade the display with the addition of a GPU later on, but for now, it's going to be an old display with the mentioned D-SUB cable.
  12. Could you please recommend me a motherboard from this site, with the filters that I've applied? https://iponcomp.com/shop/csoport/szamitogep-alkatresz/alaplap?39=9015&price=9990-23990
  13. Would something from Asus, along the lines of the Prime series be a decent replacement instead of the MSI one? I'm thinking of something like the E, K or A.
  14. Thank you for the reply, great video! So, would something like this be a better option?
