  1. Ok thanks guys Does it matter what brand I get? Eg asus, gigabyte? Is auros a high end gigabyte?
  2. Ok thanks. I may wait a bit and hopefully 2080ti drops in price....
  3. Is the 2080 a more bang for buck than 2080Ti? Games list below: Metro exodus CSGO LoL Flight Sim pubg overwatch Apex legends BFV rocket league R6 Siege Thanks. K.
  4. Hi All, My current system is: i7 9700K 16GB RAM Asus ROG motherboard 1070Ti 8GB I'm going to get a 27" Acer predator 144Hz Gsync 1440P monitor. Which GPU upgrade makes the most sense? RTX 2080 or RTX 2080Ti? Or a used 1080Ti (although this is still very expensive). I am in Australia. Thanks, K.
  5. Thanks guys. The 271HU ips is approx $100 or so more. hmm tough choice :) problem is there are no shops who have both on display. May gamble with the TN since only for gaming.
  6. ok thanks. I will have the monitor toe in to face me, so hopefully this will be ok for the TN.
  7. Hi All, Please help me decide :) They are around $100-$150 difference. - I'm in Australia. My only concern is input lag and the response times. Is the TN better in this regard? I already have a 40" philips BDM4065UC which is a VA panel. But will use the acer exclusively for gaming. I have a GTX 1070Ti and i7 9700K. Thanks, K.
  8. Should I get the retail copy in the shops or download from steam? Any difference?
  9. Yep seems good so far. What bugs did you have??
  10. What overclocks did you achieve with the strix ? Game stable
  11. Ok I played CS:GO on max and LoL on max as well @ 1920X1200 with my STRIX and seems stable but not sure if these games are a good test. My boost clock when I look at the graphics of ASUS GPU tweaker it gets to 1463Mhz Boost. Is this good?
  12. STRIX all the way but I am bias
  13. That's what I meant 4k monitor. Would love to see how that looks on a 4k monitor
  14. So you mean CS:GO only supports max native 1080P? To get 4K we will need to use DSR?
  15. Oh ok. I thought you had native 4K
