I might be one of the few that actually liked Doom 3 - sure, it wasn't perfect, and the scary factor was mostly just:
1. Jump scares (LOTS of them, they became very predictable, especially when opening doors), and
2. Creepy atmosphere, especially in the areas where it was pitch black
 
The game had a decent story, and the gameplay was still quite fun.
I personally liked the sci-fi horror theme. I mean, it was much better than the Doom Movie at least

I'm saying that every consumer will always decide what is an is not worth their money. Personally I have no interest in the game, if I did, I would not be buying it for quite a long while, until the price had dropped. A developer or inventor can put all the effort in the world into something, but in the end, if the customers don't like it, they don't buy it.
 
And yes, because this is a "console+" version, instead of a true PC port. I'm not advocating piracy either, because I don't pirate, I'm merely stating "when dev's do lazy sh*t like this, piracy goes up".

Valve had a pass and they tried funny stuff with paid mods. The community tore them a new one and they went back on that one for now.
We shat on Ubisoft for their continuous crap and false advertisement. Same with EA and Activision and everyone before them.

No. They do not deserve the pass.
I don't give a flying f*ck about the downgrade. But I do care about deceiving the consumers and the fanbase.
They are a company that wants money. They lied to have it. They deserve the shitstorm.
 
The downgrade IS real. Lets just wait for the real release to see what is the real extent of it.

Trust goes out the window when a developer makes evasive statements on the graphical capabilities of the game a few months out from launch. If CDPR had straight up avoided showing and promising anything, or using inflated PC specs to power brutally inefficient code that required a beast of a PC; people would be less outraged. But CDPR showed off "in-game" content. They set that bar themselves. 
 
They failed to reach that bar because they didn't have resources and time to build a separate PC game, instead giving you a Console+ experience as opposed to the consoles getting a PC Lite experience; a big difference in methodology that I hope people understand. 
 
Then again, this is what people get for so blindly following a company and saying "oh they could never do wrong, oh its worth pre-ordering since its gonna be a great game". Hey, if those people can blow 60 bucks on a game before it even launches because they somehow can make the judgement that "its a good game", why can't people on the other side give the game crap based off far stronger and tangible information? The double standard that people used, especially with respect to this game, is amazing. 
 
Preordering is bad and people should feel bad BUT CDPR are good guys so they get my money. A million games preordered of what? Are people that impatient? Need it that badly? Its a digital game, you can chill can you not? Console gamers even have proper reviews with Digital Foundry releasing their video shortly; at least they have a valid reason to want the game "pre loaded" but PC users? why? 
 
We have no real reviews for the PC version. We have no metrics, no benchmarks, not a single port report. The game is digital. Its not going anywhere. You can wait 2-3 days after launch to make up your mind. Are people that pressed for time that they need the game ASAP? Its a game planning dozens and dozens of hours; does it matter when you start playing it?
Alas, I can't understand that mentality. I got burned by BF4 and have tried to avoid the hype and the pomp and the excitement, and for good reason. Even the most "trusted and friend of PC gaming" developers will screw up and screw you over.  

I've changed my mind and will be getting the game a month or two after release to see if they announce an enhanced edition/hi-res textures or anything. I'll load up Witcher 2 and try out Iorveth's path in the meantime. This is ridiculous. Consoles need to die.

Go on console defenders, tell me how consoles aren't harming the industry at all.

To anyone saying that graphics aren't content, allow me to quote the article.

The game will be running on PC at the same settings (except resolution) as consoles. We know that the consoles' GPU is equivalent to a modified HD 7870, so if this game doesn't run on ultra on PCs with similar hardware, we know that they did a piss poor job on the PC version.

The flaw in your logic is you're failing to see that we should have had BOTH gameplay and visuals. There doesn't NEED to be a sacrifice at all.

It's for the best interests of the console gamers. Think for a second; use the brain you were born with. Why would TAKING OUT CONTENT be best for us?

It will happen again. But it it shouldn't be the case. They promised us these graphics. They showed them off as if that's what we were going to get. And then they take it away just before launch. We shouldn't have to mod the game and do their work to get what they promised us initially.

You're missing the point. WE SHOULDN'T HAVE TO MOD TO GET THE EXPERIENCE WE DESERVE AND WERE FUCKING PROMISED. How are we children for wanting the game to run and look better on superior hardware? They DID take out game content. I was really looking forward to this game. Now I'm not so sure.

4DX cinemas aim to offer the most immersive movie experience by the addition of rain, snow and warm air.
The 4DX cinemas already offer a dazzling sensory experience with smells pumped into the room along with moving,vibrating and even prodding and tickling chairs. Now the weather should be even more real with these new additions.
Currently 4DX offers motions, water, fog, wind, air, lightning, bubbles, ticklers scents and vibrations.
The new effects should help to add realism to on-screen floods, explosions, earthquakes, tornados and fires. These effects will be used in summer movies like Mad Max: Fury Road, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Furious 7 and San Andreas.
How the rain and snow will affect the person in the cinema is unclear .
While this announcement was made at CinemaCon the individual cinemas which will get this have not been specified, yet.
4DX was recently launched in the UK at the Milton Keynes Cineworld with plans to roll it out nationwide in place for this year.
