To enter the giveaway:
1. Comment below, tell us about your current peripheral setup (Max one entry per person)
2. Follow Feenix on Twitter: https://twitter.com/Feenix
*Giveaway will run for approximately 14 days, entries close on August 9th, 2016*
The winner will be announced randomly via Random.org, and you'll see their names edited into the OP here. I will also DM the winners, and they'll have 72 hours from there to respond.
You also have to consider finding a board for the 2500k. Unless you have one lying around you're at the mercy of Ebay/Craigslist as well, and a good condition one probably isn't going to come cheap.
wow ...why in the world did you buy a GTX 980ti then?!
step-up to 1440p or 4K man...if you really want a CPU upgrade then the i7-5820K is a much better choice...the 6700K is super overpriced right now and the 5820K has 2 extra cores (+4 threads) you can overclock it to 4.4ghz easily and it will match the 6700K.
But honestly...yeah...why a 980ti on a 1080p monitor playing super not demanding old school games?
I would personally stick to the i7-2600 and order a 1440p 144hz Gsync monitor instead.
