Look at this. The Amd beats the i5-3570K! http://www.cpu-world.com/Compare_CPUs/AMD_FD8350FRW8KHK,Intel_CM8063701211800/ -

But the 8350 has a better performance than an i5 (which also cost more in my country) -

I don't want a better GPU. I have a 60 Hz monitor so i can take advantage of a 270/280 GPU -

Hi. This is not only for gaming! My monitor is only a 60 hz monitor so i don't think i need a huge gpu. This is also for programming and browsing etc. My budget is 1200 $

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant CPU: AMD FX-8350 4.0GHz 8-Core Processor ($169.99 @ Amazon) CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i 77.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler ($99.98 @ OutletPC) Motherboard: MSI 970 GAMING ATX AM3+ Motherboard ($99.99 @ Newegg) Memory: Crucial Ballistix Tactical 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($169.99 @ Micro Center) Storage: Samsung 840 EVO 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($87.72 @ Amazon) Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($52.91 @ OutletPC) Video Card: MSI GeForce GTX 760 2GB TWIN FROZR Video Card ($234.99 @ Micro Center) Case: Fractal Design Define R4 (Black Pearl) ATX Mid Tower Case ($74.99 @ NCIX US) Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8 (OEM) (64-bit) ($97.98 @ OutletPC) Total: $1088.54 Hello there! My name is Johannes and i want to build my own desktop 1. Budget & Location I'm from Denmark (Europe). My budget is $1200 USD. 2. Aim Browsing! - A lot Programming and Virtualization - A bit Gaming(League of Legends at 60 fps (Because of my monitor )) - A lot Tired of a slow pc and "Windows is not responding" Solid desktop so i don't have to buy a new one in the next years. 3. Monitors I have 1 monitor - 1920 X 1080 and it is a 60hz monitor 4. Peripherals Nope... only Windows 8 - 64 bit. 5. Why are you upgrading? Currently i'm using a laptop as a desktop. Last year i brougt a Asus laptop and everything was just fine until the screen started to flicker. I bougt a new laptop (A chep Lenovo) and then i'm now using the Asus laptop as a desktop which kinda works but it's too slow. Another reason why i'm buying a new computer is because i play League of Legends which i'm having problems with. I'm lagging as .... and the Client crashes. I have tried to reinstall windows but i have the same problem(Not internet problems!). And I also want to build my own desktop although I have no experience with hardware. I hope someone can help me with finding the best PSU to my build. Also i want to know if the parts are compatible Thank you for your time
