  1. I got the chance to play with m8 in stores and I absolutely love sense 6. One of the biggest things that really grabbed my attention with the UI is the ability to change fonts; helvetica being the sexiest. I have the m7, but after messing with the m8 in all of its glory, I really want to get my hands on that 90% aluminium body being my favorite thing about the m8. Keep up the good work, guys. Loving the phone reviews and can't wait to see more of them. You guys have became so big and professional within these last couple of years. Thanks!
  2. just some head room for future upgrades
  3. sorry i didn't meet your standards. Decent build though IMO. lul sorry my friend failed to see the benefits of the titan. I complete agree though that a titan or x79 platform would have worked.
  4. The thing is though I said my dad is an electrical contractor so if you had knowledge in that field, you could deduct that would involve light CAD.
  5. and emphasis on "light CAD" because he's an electrical contractor and a gamer so the cad is light and the gaming is beastly
  6. emphasis on "about 4k" and "gaming"
  7. Yeah, had to haggle with my dad though already the original plan was a 3k build and it progressed to this, had to save some money.
  8. thanks and that's what i planned at first, but then z87 came out and i wanted to beef up the gpu because its also a gaming system as well. Light CAD work
  9. they're white! lul just looks blue
  10. well total was 3600 and parts not including peripherals was around $2,900. Then tax, shipping, etc.
  11. My dad is a electrical contractor and recently had a large contract that required a better workstation compared to his TouchSmart with a phenom. So, he set aside about 4K for an extreme build and had me pick the parts and build it. So with the help of my friend (theeoracle), we built this beast in 4 hours. Parts: BitFenix Colossus, Asus Sabertooth Z87, Intel core i7 4770k, Corsair H100i with SP120s, 16GB Corsair Dominator Platinum, 2x WD Black 1TB drives in RAID 0, 120GB Samsung 840 SSD, nVidia GeForce GTX 780, Corsair AX1200. Peripherals: Razer Blackwidow Ultimate 2013, Razer Deathadder, 2x Asus MX279H monitors. Not the nicest build, but a butt load of nice parts.

  13. Linus, I love your channel, Man. You guys have gotten so professional and it's just insane. (not that you weren't professional before, just more so now) The fact you're getting sponsors such as Intel, nvidia, AMD, etc. is awesome. I really enjoy your channel and how informative you and your employees are. You have helped me in my build and helped spark my interest in PCs and how they worked. I don't know if what writing in the post matters, but might as well post my appreciation for you guys and your hard work. Looking forward to the live stream tonight and you firing slick. lul Thanks for the awesome giveaway, LinusTech, Intel, and Gigabyte!Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/david.m.lahaie/posts/311460245647139https://www.facebook.com/david.m.lahaie/posts/153591771469124Twitter: intel.com/content/www/us… — David Michael LaHaie (@FoshozleMyNozle) March 23, 2013 http://bit.ly/14gjYdS
