I have a old Acer LCD monitor that I have fixed up and wanna use for a new PC. It has a resolution of 1440x900. Is this resolution good enough for gaming? Is it gonna give me more or less FPS than a 1920x1080?

What capacity should I spring for? I only use about 200 GB on my laptop (Buying SSD for new Gaming PC). I plan on playing Arma III, Minecraft, Battlefield, FSX, and other titles.
