Valentyn reacted to LAwLz in Intel's Discrete Graphics Cards, A770 and A750 - Reviews are out!
It's been a long time since we had more than two options for discrete gaming graphics cards on the market, but today that changes. The embargo for Intel's new A770 and A750 graphics cards have finally lifted and it's time to see how it performs.
Intel's own numbers puts it slightly ahead of an RTX 3060, but first party benchmarks are not that reliable.

I highly recommend people read the full reviews to get a better and more nuanced understanding of these reviews, but I will include some summaries from various reviews.
This is very important because with these GPUs the performance summaries and aggregate scores do not tell the full picture.

I love how the 5800X3D beats the 13900K in some games so instead of including a column for it they just put a little notch above the 5950x.
10/10 best ad for the 5800X3D I've seen all week, and that includes Ryzen 7000 launch.

I love the graph burring the 5800x3d where they can claim its still there.

Die's bigger than an LGA 775 CPU...

Under the IHS you can see a board and solder balls so I'd say the silicon itself is a solid 75% that size

My lovely 3dfx, and Pentium MMX powered Taito Wolf System Arcade system. Still works after 24 years.
Such a unique system. Three boards layered over each other.
ROM > 3d accelerator, and pentium powered mainboard.

    Game is Psychic Force 2012.

Unique design for sure. A smart way to take advantage of the latest tech earlier before they would have it all on a single PCB.

The Golden Tee arcade board I have is a next step up. Everything bar the 3d accelerator is on the same PCB; but that still uses a normal expansion slot.

Do some of us really need multiples of any lovely thing? No, do we deserve them? YES!

These are three functional W98 back-up systems I keep on hand because old stuff can just up and die.
One of them still uses an ISA slot. The systems have to have two parallel printer ports.
There's also an ATI Rage II, a Radeon 9200 (PCI), and a Matrox Millenium .

Two absolute rare beauties I found recently. 3dfx powered Arcade board, for Golden Tee. Also a sealed new, Japanese only V3 3000 minibox. It's so small compared to the normal US, and EU retail boxes!

Im trying to assemble nvidia themed "old" pc. It would be better if cards were reference models or at least Asus or others with more green colors, but this will sufice.
Im hope that Ill manage to obtain nvidia themed case soon 🙂

I'm a pal of a collector that specializes in only getting 3dfx prototypes. Bought one from him.
He has several rampage prototypes also, even a working one.
