Man I like it all. just the temps seem annoying. I'll wait another 2 years, and see what I can upgrade to from my 5950X. Give DDR5 and the platforms some more time to mature. Noticed in Gamers Nexus that the 13900K had some off 1% lows at times, some worse than 13600K, and 12600K. Likely windows and the e cores.

I was a consumer ho too many times in my life. I love me some Big die chips, even got the Titan V prior to the 3090. Not a hope I'm touching the 4090 this time round. Caseking prices already over MSRP; and no more options of getting FE cards in Ireland. Nevermind the per kWh price for electricity is going up another 49% here next month. Hoping AMD does well, and likely going to grab an Intel arc to much about with.

Intel’s top Arc A770 GPU is priced at $329, available October 12th

It actually looks interesting. All of it. Been wanting Intel to come into the market since Knight Landing as a dedicated GPU failed. -
Out of Intel, and AMD's launches it just shows how good the X3D was. Give me a 10-12 core X3D. Kinda wish It was out when I build my Ryzen 5000 system in 2020. Although I'm really interested in Intel's ARC. I'm very likely going AMD for my next upgrade, but would like one to play around with. Biggest worry is their drivers

Unique design for sure. A smart way to take advantage of the latest tech earlier before they would have it all on a single PCB. The Golden Tee arcade board I have is a next step up. Everything bar the 3d accelerator is on the same PCB; but that still uses a normal expansion slot. -

My lovely 3dfx, and Pentium MMX powered Taito Wolf System Arcade system. Still works after 24 years. Such a unique system. Three boards layered over each other. ROM > 3d accelerator, and pentium powered mainboard. Game is Psychic Force 2012. -

I'm a pal of a collector that specializes in only getting 3dfx prototypes. Bought one from him. He has several rampage prototypes also, even a working one. -

Yes, I own a V5 6000. I also know Anthony that's making the new V5 6000 clones. Last time I took a photo of my baby to prove it as mine. -

Two absolute rare beauties I found recently. 3dfx powered Arcade board, for Golden Tee. Also a sealed new, Japanese only V3 3000 minibox. It's so small compared to the normal US, and EU retail boxes! -

When I finally moved to all NVMe storage, and my only SATA SSD/HDDs are external raids. -

Also missing, got the entire little thing for next to nothing. It still works thankfully. -

This little Quantum3D Raven arrived a while back, no heatsink and a dirty heart. She’s now been cleansed and clad with a new heatsink. Happy days! -

Yes it does, although it's a revision that doesn't handle FSAA X4 or X8 sadly. It'll crash on those; but does FSAA X2 perfectly fine. The card on the back of the box is actually my own one. I even printed the vinyl fan stickers for it myself. -

Robert Hallock said their might be a parasitic background app. So I removed any RGB control software, and Epic games launcher. Issue was still somewhat present, turned out when DropBox, and iCloud Drive are syncing lots of files it will also peg the CPU; Although afterwards it's now fine. iCue, Asus Armory / Aura Sync, and Epic were my main issues. I'm now running the latest AMD chipset drivers, windows 10 20H update, and balanced power plan. Idle temps are now fine.

I'm getting completely messed up idle temps on my 5950X with Noctua D15s. I'm idling in the 70's I get LOWER temps under load than on idle on the desktop. it's the CPU voltage, and the Windows power plans. It's jacking the voltage on the desktop when "idling", then when I apply load to the CPU. Cinebench, gaming, AID64, the voltage normalises, and temps are great. I get lower temps under max load, and the CPU ACTUALLY idles on the Power Saver plan in Windows, but not on Balance and Performance.
