xiaolongstan reacted to LienusLateTips in Does anyone know a place where i can buy a Predator 21x in washington
Quick question - why?
Unless you want the curved screen, a 1080 can play most things at 100hz.

There are much cheaper laptops that can do that, even half the price.

There isn't a "Federal Things-that-go-in-your-mouth Commision" with the power to ban dangerous things that go in your mouth.

A webstore had a promotion where you got a 5 pack of "pingvinstänger" included, a type of candy they are known for including with orders, so a 1$ iPhone 4 case.

I haven't seen anything on Windows 8 being a financial or commercial failure. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it's a failure.

xiaolongstan reacted to Suffokation in Is X99 worth it for gaming?
Nope. Not at all.
Unless you have a budget of upwards $3000, or need the extra PCI-E lanes, X99 is never worth it for gaming.

xiaolongstan got a reaction from SuperShires in AT&T Will Charge Gigabit Customers More If They Want Privacy
Compared to a nation like Sweden, every factor went wrong. When the Dial-up boom was winding up, the major Telecom company had only just been privatized, The companies in the US could charge much more. Using their mad stacks they could then lobby against any sort of municipal broadband and they were under no obligation to share infrastructure, while in Sweden everybody rents copper from the same company.
