  1. Well, I guess since DirectX 12 is coming out they might think these benchmarking tools are obsolete. That's my educated guess.
  2. Yeah I saw it. He didn't really review the headphones as much as talk about them. Snazzy Labs also made a review but he didn't really like them. So I would like so see more opinions before I buy them (or not). The Snazzy Labs review:
  3. Blue Microphones not to long ago released their first headphones the Mo-Fi. Silly name a side they look like very promising headphones, both due to their design and the fact that they have a built in amp. I am looking into buying them, but I haven't found any reviews that look into the sound, only the design. Has anyone try or bought these headphones? If you did what do you think of them? If you want to see the headphones here is the site: http://mofiheadphones.com/
  4. That would be great, but Noctuas are expensive and impossible to get here in Mexico without paying a ton for shipping. So I'll get the Specter Pros.
  5. LOL that makes sense. So in conclusion I should get the Specter Pros PWM?
  6. What's the mobo? (Sorry I'm a noob when it comes to fans).
  7. I'm also think of buying a fan controller. I was thinking of buying the Corsair Commander Mini, or the Bitfenix Recon. But I also found a power supple made by Thermaltake that says it gives control over your fans through software. The Thermaltake Toughpower DPS G 1050W. Which of those is better or are they all for very different things?
  8. Hi So I built my PC 2 years ago (using a Cooler Master Haf X case) but I left the stock fans and didn't add any fans to the case. I spent a ton of money and time on that build and adding the fans slipped my mind. But now enough time has passed that I want to upgrade and add things to my PC. The first upgrade I want to make is add and replace the fans from my case. The fans it can fit are: Front: 230x30 mm fan x 1 (Included) Top: 200x30mm fan x 2 (One is included) Side: 200x30mm fan x 1 Rear: 140x25mm fan x 1 I have done a bit of research and apparently my best bet for fans that are that big is to buy Bitfenix Specter Pros. Are the Bitfenix Specter Pros any good? Or are their other fans I should consider buying? Do I need PDM fans? Thanks
  9. I personally don't dislike the name. And I also thought the same thing when I saw it. But a ton of reviews and people at the hi-fi forum swear by the Dragonfly. Personally I don't know how good it is. I might be crapy, it might be great.
  10. Dream Theater's album Metropolis Part 2. It has a lot of detail and a lot of panning and stereo effects. Alter of Plagues's album Teethed Glory and Injury. It's a very layered album with a lot of highs and a lot of lows. Slayer's album God Hates Us All (remastered). It's a greatly produced album, you can tell all the instruments apart, drums are specify detailed. This may not apply to all headphones, but most of the good headphones I have used have let me appreciate those aspects of the albums.
  11. Never said it was a fact, I just saw the specs and I have seen a ton of recommendations for Dragonfly and not a single one (until now) for the Syba DAC. So based on that, and that I haven't used either, I have more evidence in favor of the Dragonfly than the Syba.
  12. The Little Dot is $400.00 and it has tubes. I would never buy that. Tubes change the sound too much for my taste. And the Syba DAC looks (judging by the specs) like a lesser Dragonfly 1.2. That's just my opinion.
  13. So according to you an AudioQuest Dragonfly 1.2 DAC is a better audio solution than a STX card?
