  1. But you might not have to get the highest end model. There are some m.2 2230 SSDs available on Amazon now. Not saying that only one available model of the 512GB is ideal, but it is $199 and combined with the $399 model of SteamDeck, gives an option to get highest end storage minus all the extra stuff and save $50 which is not an insignificant amount. Besides that, there are a few 128GB models that range from $15 ~ $25, not everyone is going to play those ridiculously large file sized games, so maybe the base model + one of those 128GB drives could work out great for many. All of this could be a moot point depending on just how difficult/easy it is to install a drive - LOL and that upgradeable storage is true to begin with
  2. not sure if this has been posted yet, but it appears the storage might just be upgradeable: click here edited for fat-finger-itis
  3. Take a good long look at the product page, it is crystal clear that "gaming box" is more than a product designation. What gigabyte has said is pure spin, they don't want to lose that gpp-bro-hood perks, but still use gaming in their branding of amd, because hey, gaming sells. Another interesting point, Auros is the OC tool mentioned on that page. Curious to see how gigabyte works around that one.
  4. I call it a staycation , those are my favorite.
