  1. Currently using Dark rock pro 3 on 9700k. Still works like a champ but it's having a hard time cooling 4.9Ghz / 1.275v. Can EVGA CLC 280 (will use at 1500RPM ish on full load) improve this situation? like 7~10 C's? It will be mounted at the top of the case(Dark base pro 900) This silicon showed some potential (Passed Cinebench R20 at 5.0Ghz / 1.31v) so I want some more juice out of it.
  2. I have Mamba Chroma TE, Blackwidow X Chroma TE, and Firefly mouse pad. Blackwidow fits my taste kinda well. Firefly is pricey but serves its purpose nicely. But Mamba.. I regret buying it. For mouse I'm sticking with Logitech G900 / G502. I think just avoid the mouse and niche headset and you'll be fine.
  3. Unfortunately G900's shape is kinda awkward to put tape on leds.. Also tape will leave horrible stickies on $150 mouse. Holy..
  4. Even when I turn lighting completely off in LGS, it lits up. Maybe I should just cover with it some clothes or whatever when charging...
  5. Yes. Installed LGS but no clue. I tried both ways to plug it but it wasn't that different. Good news, right?
  6. Hi everyone. I got new G900 recently. This is my very first wireless mouse so I have some questions. 1. Plugging the receiver not directly to the motherboard, but in the usb hub (actually it's a monitor) can add extra latency? 2. I charge it when I sleep. But the battery indicator LED's kinda annoying. Any way to turn off LED when charging? and is it safe to charge with adapter-powered USB hub when PC is off? My phone has been charged with it flawlessly. Thanks in advance!
  7. Yeah. Should return anyway.. I just wanted to use this beast properly only by tonight.
  8. So this happened immediately when I unboxed it. When pressing right side of right click button, It doesn't work. Left side barely works but less crispier than left click. Left click is working flawlessly so I could compare. Lemon, right? any possible fix can I try before returning?
  9. Just tested bundled SW3 PWM with 3pin header on case fan controller. Seems working fine with adjusted RPM % range but there's a probablity that bundled SW3 and independently sold SW3 are not the same. Normally they should have same specs but hmm.
  10. That's true. Currently my 3pin fans on controller are working fine so..
  11. Uh... It's quite silent at full speed but I want to lower the RPM when idle for positive pressure. D:
  12. So I'm rocking be quiet! Dark Base Pro 900. Neat case. I bought Silent Wings 3 140mm PWMs to use as top exhaust fans. (Not arrived yet) But case's integrated fan controller supports only 4*4pin and 4*3pin. (see below) (Intentionally chose PWM SW3 than 3pin one for probable future case change) Three 4pin headers of case fan controller are already occupied with bundled SW3 as intake. Motherboard's 2 PWM headers also are already occupied with Dark Rock Pro 3 fans and case fan controller PWM signal cable. I heard some PWM fans pose problems when not connected to DC 12V. Such as additional noise. Can I hook up SW3 PWM with 3pin headers of case fan controller without problem? BTW I have a 4-way PWM splitter with molex power cable. Looks like this. If 3pin headers are a bust, then this PWM splitter could work with SW3 PWM and a case fan controller?
  13. 1) You can always make a custom resolution in NV control panel. 2) I have 32" 2560x1440p display with GTX 1080 and personally I'm very satisfied with it. What size are you aiming? 3) You can easily achieve 60+fps in 3440x1440 with GTX 1080. in 2560x1440 I get average 70~80ish fps on witcher 3 or rise of the tomb raider.
