  1. dear people in this awesome forum, i need a help. i'm using Legion 7 now, and my right speaker volume keeps going down after 20 or 30 minutes of use. i tried to reinstall all sound drivers but it didn't help. does anyone have the same issue or maybe general similar issue with laptop? thank you
  2. does anyone have any HDR monitor experience? i haven't tried any. does it work the same as on TV?
  3. actually, i'm so interested on HDR. that's why i want this monitor sir. i've tried your lg 27ud58 before and it was so good.
  4. i plan to upgrade my GPU and monitor early next year (after holiday), and this LGUD99-W really get my attention. it has everything i want from monitor for now. but, since it's not available in my country just yet, i can't test it. does anyone here have any experience with this monitor? is it any good? and, if Sir Linus see this post, i really hope u'll make a review video for this monitor sir. i think i'm not the only one who interest on this monitor. that will be great thank u so much best regards
  5. I also have msi ghost pro and i had a similar problem as yours. My keyboard backlight, fn key and left ctrl were not working month ago, since i dont have warranty anymore, i tried to fix it myself. I tried unpluging the keyboard, monitor, and battery connector and then connect them back. Maybe i was just lucky, but thank God they all work again.
  6. i tried to change shadow quality to low but it's still jumping above 4GB lol. i just don't wanna sacrifice more than shadow quality and AA on every game i play. just my personal preference..
  7. yea.. fortunately i have i7 in my rig, so CPU bottlenecking won't happen to me. it's only because of the VRAM. i just still don't uderstand why it need a lot of it, because the game itself doesn't look that good or that "demanding". even witcher 3 runs a lot better than this in my PC hahaha...
  8. hmm.. i know, it just doesn't make sense for me hahaha.. if u play arkham knight, it has SO MUCH MORE detail and viewing distance. than watch dogs 2. i don't say the game is bad by any means. it's a quite enjoyable game overall. it's just the VRAM issue that's bothering me. hahaha
  9. i just got watch dogs 2 about three days ago, and... damn.. to be honest, the graphs quality is still so far far far away from batman arkham knight which i'm still playing. and i just don't understand why it needs more than 4 GB of VRAM with medium quality shadow and without AA at all... i'm playing at 1920x1200 with my old GTX 980. to be honest, the GPU itself is still more than capable to run the game, but when u're driving, the VRAM usage jump to 3960 and more and it stutter a lot. i can play arkham knight with highest setting (except normal shadow quality) without needing more than 4 GB of VRAM and it runs super smooth 60 FPS (vsync on) almost everytime without any stutter. damn it ubisoft.. why their game engine is always bad. does anyone here have the same problem?
  10. Yea.. even rise of the tomb raider needs more than 4GB for very high setting. Sad fact..
  11. Try to get 980, i used 780 years ago and some modern games need more than 3 GB of VRAM
  12. Naahh.. the tax system here is a mess. I prefer waiting haha.. Oh, I'm from indonesia sir..
  13. i really like this new jonsbo case but it's not available in my country just yet. pleaasseee... come here.. pleassee....
  14. yea buddy. i believe that when the GTX 1180 comes, 4K will already be mainstream resolution and it also will be cheaper just like 1080p monitors before it.
  15. Yea.. that's my main plan, Waiting for the next 1180 and also change my monitor with a proper 4K monitor. I'm just worried about my 4GB VRAM. How about deus ex? Does it need more than 4GB on 1080p?
  16. i was wondering, how about people who have R9 fury X? it only have 4 GB, right? so, they'll also have the sampe problem just like us?
  17. Hhmm.. i think i've cheked it sir I've been using 6.0 for a long time. HTC always get updates earlier than other brand.
  18. I've tried to uninstall the updates, it worked once, but, after a few weeks, it's searching on GPS permanently
  19. Need help please... After some updates (i forgot which one) my google maps isn't working. It's always "searching for GPS" Everytime i use my navigation. I need my google maps badly. Please help me sir... Thx Best regards
  20. Hhmmm... i always buy GTX something80 since GTX 580 but i sold it. I still have my 680 for my other rig, and my 780 was broken. That's why 1070 isn't an option until now The problem are new games requirements, i'm a bit afraid of my VRAM. Do u guys know any title that needs more than 4GB of VRAM for max setting (AA not included) at 1080p or 1200p resolution? Maybe this information can help many people. Thank u gus.. Best regards..
  21. should i upgrade my good old GTX 980 to GTX 1080? to be honest, it's so expensive here (in my country), it cost around $840 here. damn... i'm using a 1920x1200 right now and i can have 60 FPS plus on max setting with my 980, but will it stay there for the next one or two years? the only game that i play that needs more than 4GB of VRAM at that resoluiton is only the rise of the tomb raider. i need more than 4 GB for the very high texture setting. i'm affraid that the upcoming games will also need more than 4GB of VRAM for the max setting. to be honest, i don't plan to buy pascal cards anytime soon, i'm more interested on the next generation beause, i believe that the next gen nvidia card will handle 4K nicely just like the maxwell cards handle 1080p right now. and 4K becomes more mainstream and cheaper. that will be a very ideal upgrade. that's just my thought. so, what do u think? will the $840 investment be a good decision? for now? or i should wait. thank u guys..
  22. WOOOOWWWW..... daaammnn....!! sorry. i can't help it. sorry. damn..!! i always adore your builds sir. and, thank God u didn't use green coolant. daammnn...!!! (sorry again)
