  1. Come to think of it, my peripherals have quite some age on them... Keyboard: 2013 Stealth Razer Black Widow. Mouse: RAT 5. Funny story with this one... The peg which goes through the mouse wheel and rests on the MMB actually broke about 3 years ago. Sent them an E-mail, mailed it out, and they fixed it at no cost to me. -- Since then I noticed the RAT M that I have actually has a aluminium mouse wheel for improved durability. Cool! Headphones: Black Skullcandy Lowriders v2.0 with in-line mic. Microphone: Arm & shock mounted Blue Snowball. (Because who in their right mind would use a built-in mic )
  2. When I secure the upper left corner screw with alot of force it still fails to allign, pushing down on the corner looks to fix the issue, but after further inspection, pushing down just flexes the case attatched to the stand-off downwards. Also, trying to straighten the board doesn't help as it flexes right back. The curve is very subtle, and after removing my stock intel cooler, I can say that the bend is not being caused by mounting pressure. To clarify, the board sits nicely on the stands, IO just doesn't line up, not sure what sort of force your talking about CaptainPebbleDash
  3. Looking at it, your right, the board has a fair bow in it, is there any way to alleviate that?
  4. Ever since I first build my computer, I could never get my Rear IO to fully line up with the shield, the top most ports (Being 2 USB 2.0 and a PS2 port). When looking at the back of my PC when fully built, the ports are leaning to the right, making the IO shield get in the way. I'm using a G1.Sniper M5, and my case is an Obsidian 350D. (And yes, I hate my motherboard, because of poor linux support, Atheros NIC, and Audio Drivers, planning on fixing all that when I upgrade to Skylake)
  5. My favorite peripheral is definitely the Feenix Autore Keyboard. It's just elegant and plain and I really love the golden background for the keys, although the runner up is certainly the Dimora Mousepad.
  6. I'd like to play some of my TCGs over webcam, but I haven't the slightest clue what camera to buy. The cards need to be distinguishable, but not necessarily readable. I do know however that I want to aim for a HD video feed for personal recording. (1080p or higher) Currently, my bench mark image is my from HTC One M7 I would be very satisfied to have this quality or better. The Kinect V2 is in my (short) list of considerations so far, however I've also been thinking about potential camcorders which can stream to PC. Getting a dedicated webcam is also a totally fair consideration, anyways let me know if you have any recommendations, in the meantime I'll keep digging and let you guys know if I find anything.
  7. Whoa guys, thanks for hosting the awesome giveaway! Glad I can be apart of it! Now assides from living in Canada and saving you guys shipping costs (PICK ME MAGIC RANDOM NUMBER ), I'm awesome and would love to upgrade my Surface Pro to a Surface Pro 3 I actually found Linus Tech Tips from a video recommendation at the end of an iFixit repair guide for my 3DS : ) As for videos I enjoy, I really like it when you guys hunt down some good wireless routers. Now-a-days it's super easy to get a good wired router, just get something with Gigabit connections. But wireless is still a bit of a chore because every antenna is a little different and what have you. Still looking for well priced, and well built home-centric premium wireless routers or access points. But in the mean time, my AP at 2.4GHz with a Megabit connection will suffice. Also, more 'fast as possible', learning about tech is always great. Thanks for continuing to bring tech content to my subscriptions box!
  8. So I am on the long quest to upgrade my wireless access point. And I've opted to take the recommendation from LinusTechTips and give the Ubiquiti UniFi AC access point a go! The problem however is that Ubiquiti's official retail department is only serving US customers, and I live in Canada. Does anyone know a reliable source to accquire a Ubiquiti UniFi AC which will ship to Canada with minimal price increase. -- I was able to find the access point on amazon.ca and ebay.ca, but the prices were over 50% markup! Thanks for the help guys : )
