  3. Sorry I was but then saw that you weren't talking about my post, I was getting lower than you until I changed all of my settings in crimson to use application and the lowest graphical options.
  4. Yeah I thought it would be higher, I just re-ran the test a few times before posting trying to get the best score but I got the same every time. Maybe it's a driver issue idk.

  6. I would get my girlfriend an iPad to replace her laptop. Her dad is one of those reluctant to upgrade because he thinks the old stuff is better kind of guys so she has been stuck with this crappy old laptop which she never uses for ages. http://www.amazon.com/Apple-MGNR2LL-VERSION-Certified-Refurbished/dp/B00TYTLYXA/ref=sr_1_16?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1449341636&sr=1-16&keywords=ipad&refinements=p_36%3A-30000 Thanks Linus.
  7. Ok I'll get another shot with gpuz, thanks for the link . Also is that voltage very bad? The temps never go above 75 C and it gets unstable if I push it to 4.7 so I thought that was ok.

  10. ok so I am going to have a new system setup that will be to much for my current 530w psu Here is the new set up: Gpus: hd 7970 + hd 7950 Cpu: g3250 (not permanent) Mobo: asus z97 k Storage: 1 ssd + 1 hdd Ram: 8GB The usual air cooling nothing fancy I think that's everything that matters. 11. Please help, I suspected my motherboard to be broken because at first it did not boot. I looked into the socket and found one pin miss aligned, I re aligned it with a small screwdriver. But now when I turn on the power the fans spin for about half a second and turn off again and repeats but then on e sixth time they turn on for about 3 seconds and the light strip on the board comes on but then that stops and repeats until I turn off the power. Any suggestions or is the mobo dead?
  12. Gotta love the colour of that power supply, I kind of like it's slightly unprofessional look compared to higher end stuff and it would go great with my pc build scheme.
  13. I think the cooler on the extreme looks pretty cool and would fit with my system, the omega looks a bit eh but I would like the stuff underneath it. Also it would make my friends super jelly at school if I had one B)
  14. hi I live 4.5 miles away from my Internet exchange and I have abysmal Internet speed (60-80kb/s). I was just wondering if there was any way to speed it up without building my own exchange
  15. Hi I've been looking at graphics cards and I've hit a dilemma, both the 970 and the 290 are both around the price I'm looking for and I can't see any good reason to buy one or the other. Just wondering if you could help. -James

  17. Hi I'm going to build my first PC just after Christmas and I keep seeing that with motherboards and cases micro atx are cheaper. I was wondering if there are any downsides with a micro atx build? (I will be using the PC for mainly gaming but I'm hoping to get into doing art on it as well) -James
  18. So are all the wires the same even in gaming mice?
  19. Hi, I got a R.A.T 5 gaming mouse ages ago, I remember I used it for about a year until the usb connection just broke, and I know it wasn't in the wire, it was in the plastic of the usb. I was just wondering if any of you guys know a way to fix it that would be cheaper than buying a new gaming mouse. Thanks -James
