  1. @ZetZet yea of course, I wouldn't go wireless for gaming, just for production use... it can be wired for gaming over usb @Damkiller37 Having payed attention to and actually being quite a big fan of the Control VR, after looking at and comparing their results to perception neiron, it feels to me that their algorithms are more solid, and theres also a significant price difference considering perception neuron will be out of China. However its too early to make any conclusion since neither are final products.
  2. Yes I know ANOTHER inertial mocap system, but I urge you to take a look for yourself, I personally have yet to see one come this close, be this modular, and most importantly be this affordable... KICKSTARTER: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1663270989/project-perception-neuron KICKSTARTER VIDEO: Some Bullet Points - Scalable, from 10 to 30 sensor package (one full hand to full body and hands... also tools) - Wireless, over wifi - Affordable, $175 up - 1cm sensors and hub are low profile Moooare footage: ALL THE PROTOTYPES! https://d2pq0u4uni88oo.cloudfront.net/assets/002/402/598/246b41d3e4c05c496f717d0a9f4ca81d_h264_high.mp4 Latency Test: latency is bad mkay There was also a lot of interesting discussion of this on r/Oculus, cuz duh... http://www.reddit.com/r/oculus/comments/2d1l54/let_me_introduce_perception_neuron_a_new_motion/ But Srsly, as a VFX/3D dude, one important issue that i feel is being overlooked is drifting, If absolute position tracking can be implemented using camera tracking... kinda like it was on Oculus DK2... this will dramatically improve accuracy! (more info on reddit ^thread^) Overall though, IMO, i think it's neat
