  3. Go into command prompt and type : powercfg -devicequery wake_armed Then go into device manager, right click on those devices, go to the power management tab, then unclick "allow this device to wake the computer" I hope this helps

  5. Try doing it in command prompt. type del filename or erase filename. [try and copy paste the filename] EDIT: according to @Ryoku's link, it's the exact opposite of a virus.

  10. Yup. I have Ubuntu on another hdd in case windows 10 glitches badly, but i've never had to use it.
  11. According to some benchmarks, the 300 series is only ~10% faster than the 200 series.

  14. That's awkward, they don't need admin privlages. I think it could be a file association problem, which is out of my league.
  15. Make sure you pushed the Hdd into the connector

  17. If you want features, the g710s will be fine
  18. Have you been getting S.M.A.R.T. Disk errors? It could be a hdd problem. Or a virus.
